The master director of the Mac-Haydn takes on Lloyd Webber’s masterpiece and surrounds himself with an incredible team to carry off the task. The Sunset Boulevard team is all aces.

John Saunders has taken our productions in directions many could not have imagined over the past decade and this will be no exception. “It’s high time we had the ultimate diva Norma Desmond on our stage and this season it’s finally happening! I am thrilled to present Sunset Boulevard for the first time to the Mac-Haydn audience. With Andrew Lloyd Weber’s soaring and beautiful score, alongside this compelling story, I hope to make it a new favorite here.”

John is is joined by our incredibly inventive resident music supervisor David Maglione and we are excited to see how he presents one of music theatre’s most fascinating scores.

Ashley DeLane Burger returns to choreograph and Jimm Halliday creates the costumes from this iconic period in Hollywood’s history. Erin Kiernan and Andrew Gmoser team up for the second time this season to design sets and lighting.

Sound Designer Corbin White, Props Designer Joshua Gallagher and Hair & Makeup Designer Matthew Oliver continue their work with us this season.
