Kiara Hines

Kiara Hines is excited to be joining the cast of Beehive this fall! Kiara is a North Carolina native and she is making her Mac Haydn Theatre debut with this production. Some of Kiara’s favorite previous roles include: Cinderella in “Cinderella”, Lil Inez in “Hairspray”, and Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet.” There are not enough words to suffice for how grateful she is for her health, the opportunity to perform once again, and the love and support from her family and friends. Hayden Ponjuan

Hayden Ponjuan is delighted to be making his Mac-Haydn Theatre debut! Hayden, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana native, is currently pursuing a BFA in Music Theatre at The Hartt School. Recent credits include Aaron Mckinney in The Laramie Project (The Hartt School) Che Guevara in Evita (Jean’s Playhouse) Rolf in The Sound of Music (Jean’s Playhouse) and Ren McCormack in Footloose (Theatre Baton Rouge). He would like to thank his parents Jorge and Cristin, and his two brothers Noah and Dawson for their unconditional love and support. Mia Sempertegui

Mia Sempertegui is a current graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. In the Fall she is off to Los Angeles to complete her training and receive her BFA in Theatre. She was born and raised in Queens, NY. Mia’s most recent project was the short film POCHA, directed by Carly Oscar, and she played Vic, the main protagonist. She has also performed in cabarets and concerts all throughout NYC since she was in high school. When not performing she is picking up new hobbies that interest her, such as crocheting, ceramics, sewing, piano, and writing music. William Taitel

William Taitel is a Baritone from Rockaway, New Jersey. This will be his second season of performances at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. He is super excited to give his all this season, especially since the world has been in a state of chaos and he has been cooped up inside for too long. His other performances include: Jekyll & Hyde (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde), Oklahoma (Ali Hakim), Ragtime (Booker T. Washington). He hopes you enjoy the performances and the season! Do it up big!

Sam Seleznow

Sam is so excited to be back in Chatham with his Mac-Haydn family and is grateful to be doing theater again. Past credits include: Footloose (Ren), Sweeney Todd (Tobias), Grease (Johnny Casino), Ragtime (Tateh u/s), James and the Giant Peach (Grasshopper), Matilda (Big Kid), and many others at Mac-Haydn and at other regional theaters. Sam has also worked as a production singer for two cruise lines traveling all over the world and working in Germany. Sam was stranded at sea for two months at the beginning of the pandemic and is happy to be back on land! Sam will soon be releasing a music project that he wrote, co-produced, and recorded during the pandemic so look out for that (ig- @samseleznow). Sam is a Hartt school Alumni. Maya Cuevas

Maya is grateful to return to Mac-Haydn for her second year! A recent grad from The Hartt School of Music, Dance, and Theatre, her credits include Goodspeed Musicals Festivals: Gloria GROW, Mac-Haydn Theatre: Sarah RAGTIME, Ronnette LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Frenchie GREASE, Armina OKLAHOMA! Angie Colonna

Look out old Mac is back!! Angie is beyond thankful to be returning to a theatre she calls home. Angie made her Mac-Haydn debut in 2019, receiving a nomination for Broadway Worlds Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Rizzo in Grease. Angie is thrilled to take on the role of dance captain and choreographer this summer! Angie is so grateful to be able to continue spreading joy, being an ally and lifting others up all while doing what she loves most. Emily Spateholts

This is Emily’s 12th season with Mac-Haydn! However, this will be her first season as Props Designer. Emily has been in almost every aspect of the performing arts, from stage managing to acting, and even choreography! Regional credits: LITTLE WOMEN (Marmee), SOMETHING ROTTEN! Randy is elated to be making his Mac Haydn debut! A North Carolina native, Randy is now located in NYC as a performer and voice actor. Credits include Smokey Joes Cafe (Theatre Raleigh), Grease (North Carolina Theatre), Little Shop of Horrors (La Comedia), Scrooge No More (Busch Gardens Williamsburg), Anything Goes and Legally Blonde (Temple Theatre).

Troy Lingelbach

Troy Lingelbach is an actor and aerialist based in NYC. He recently graduated from Marymount Manhattan College this May with a BA in Theatre Arts and a Triple Minor in Musical Theatre, Philosophy and Hispanic Studies. As a circus performer, Troy is a specialist and instructor in aerial silks, Lyra, rope, contortion, and dance trapeze and has performed with such companies as ABCirque, The Circus Collective of San Diego, Cirko Teleskóptico, and Lindley Lopez Productions. He recently starred in an aerial adaptation of Stravinski’s Petrushka, and in 2016 placed second in both the Male Silks and Lyra categories at the US Aerial Championships. In college, Troy performed in Punk Rock, Kiss Me, Kate!, the NYC premier of Wildhorn’s Zelda, and South Pacific. Outside of school, he has performed Chicago, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, and Shrek as part of Clear Space Theatre Company’s summer season. He is thrilled to be at the Mac this summer!

Zachary Swartout is a Pennsylvania native who grew up with dreams of being a performer, so naturally he is thrilled to be joining the Mac-Haydn Theatre Family! After graduating high school he moved to New York City to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). Since graduating, Zachary has performed all over the city. He has done several cabaret shows, performed in a fully immersive production of Andrew Lippa’s “The Wild Party”, and sung in a Dean Martin tribute concert at The Carnegie Hall. Patrick Wemitt

Patrick Wemitt grew up in Chatham, NY within walking distance of the MacHayden when performances were held in the fairgrounds of the Columbia County Fair. He was the first to be entertained by his sister, Monica Wemitt, as she would practice her tap dancing on the hard wood floors while we were trying to watch football or Saturday cartoons. He taught elementary school for 20 years and was an school administrator for twelve years. He was a sergeant in the Marine Corps and a Vietnam Veteran. He’s been a patron of the theater since its inception and was one of the first contractors to work on its current site. He is also the chaplain at the Chatham Fire Department.

Glenn is stepping out of his box office night manager role and into his “Hairy Ishmaelite” role in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT for the 7th time! From Kinderhook, NY he has been with Mac-Haydn for 30 plus years (he’s losing count at this point!) and when he’s not at Mac-Haydn he works full-time at Columbia County Mental Health. Other Mac-Haydn credits include FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Priest) and FOOTLOOSE (Principal Clark). Film work includes FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM (LokenMann Productions/Kristanna Loken/Bruce Dern-news reporter/Mr. Dern’s stand-in). Patrick Heffernan is happy to be back at Mac-Haydn for a forth summer! His first season was in 2012 and he’s been seen on stage in shows such as LEGALLY BLONDE (Emmett), THE FANTASTICS (El Gallo), SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN (Don Lockwood) and WEST SIDE STORY (Gladhand). National Tours include: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Perchik), ANYTHING GOES and 42ND STREET. Patrick graduated Wagner College and is originally from southern CA, though Chatham has become a home away from home. While not performing he enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, tap dancing and eating chocolate chip cookies.

Michelle Carter is excited to be at Mac-Haydn! Past credits include OKLAHOMA! (Gertie), THE ADDAMS FAMILY(Featured Ensemble), and THE PLANT THAT ATE DIRTY SOCKS (Fluffy) at Tibbits Opera House. She is a rising senior in Marymount Manhattan College’s musical theatre program and an accomplished tap dancer and choreographer in the Northeast. Thanks to Mom, Tim, and Mr. D!

Dan Macke is overjoyed to make his debut at Mac-Haydn! Dan grew up in East Greenbush, NY, and now studies at the Hartt School – rising as a senior to complete his B.F.A. in Music Theatre. Favorite past roles include: Prentiss in PETER AND THE STARCATCHER (Weathervane Theatre), Lt. Frank Cioffi in CURTAINS (Hartt), and Radames in AIDA (Cohoes Music Hall). Originally from Southeastern Wisconsin, Sophia is a rising Senior at Wagner College in New York City. Recent Wagner credits include Reno Sweeney in ANYTHING GOES, and Jacqueline in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. She was also a finalist at the 2014 National High School Musical Theatre Awards. She is thrilled to be making her summer stock debut with Mac Haydn Theatre!

Favorite roles: THE PIRATE KING in Pirates of Penzance, KING OF BOEHEMIA in Sherlock Holmes, and Smudge in FOREVER PLAID. Regional theatres: Sacramento Music Circus, Music Theatre of Wichita, Cape Playhouse, North Shore Music, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Ogunquit Playhouse, Actor’s Theatre of Phoenix, Cherry County Playhouse , Arvada Center, Westchester Broadway Theatre, American Stage (St. Pete), Showpalace Dinner Theatre, and resident actor at Casa Manana (Ft. Sebastiani is full of gratitude to the Mac-Hadyn for having him back for their 50th season. He has been a part of many shows at the Mac-Hadyn both on and off the stage. Last season his choreography for Hello, Dolly! won Outstanding Choreography at the Berkshire Theatre Awards. Other Mac-Hadyn credits include Spamalot, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Addams Family, and The Producers. Some of his other credits Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party (Yale), Spring Awakening (Sarah Lawrence), Kiss of the Spider Woman (NYU), Walk the Night (Blue Barn Theater), and as a collaborator on the New York Times Critic’s pick The Grand Paradise. He works as an assistant to and collaborator with Chris Gattelli (Broadway: Newsies, War Paint, Spongebob Squarepants Musical). He is also a performer and has performed at Lincoln Center, Merry Go Round Playhouse, Sleep No More(NYC), Seeing You (NYC), and The Grand Paradise (NYC). David Figliuzzi has grown up with music and a lifelong love of theater, singing and playing piano since childhood. Today, he splits his time living in Connecticut and New York, where he is a soloist and choir member both in his native Hartford, and locally at the Broad Street Chorale in Kinderhook. A loyal fan and regular attendee of Mac-Haydn productions, SOUTH PACIFIC will be David’s first time on the Mac stage. He is over-the-moon to be making his debut this summer!

Victoria Benkoski is an actress and singer from Hoosick Falls, NY who lives for summertime, live theatre and is glad to be back at the Mac! Thrilled to be back at the Mac for his fourth season!!! Paul is an actor singer, guitarist, and teaching artist for The National Dance Institute, The Mac Haydn Theatre, and Artistree Theatre Company. Paul has also performed with several NYC artists including Wesley Zurich, Maddy Wyatt, Blake Whyte, David Are, Laith Al-Sadhi, Halle Petro, Jennifer Sanchez, Dana Haynes, Alli Foss, Jac n’ Swallow, Eric Day, and Theresa Kloos. Paul just finished the amazing Big Green Theatre Festival with the Superhero Clubhouse and The Bushwick Starr, centered around climate change and environmentalism. Paul studied at the University of Michigan.
