Belle Babcock

Belle is excited to be back at the Mac this summer after growing up at the theatre. Belle graduated in May from Montclair State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Last summer she appeared at the Mac in Footloose (Wendy Jo), 42nd street (Ethel), and The Sound of Music (Baroness). She also recently appeared in Sophisticated Ladies (Terri), Spring Awakening (Anna), and Head Over Heels (Gynecia) at Montclair State, Mamma Mia (Sophie), Urinetown (Hope) and Young Frankenstein (Inga) at Venice Theatre, and Hairspray (Amber) at The Players Centrer in Florida. Paxton is thrilled to be back at the Mac! His last show on this stage was in 2019 when he played Edgar in Ragtime. Other recent roles include Sky in Mamma Mia, Jack in Newsies Jr, and Horton in Seussical Jr. When not onstage he enjoys playing guitar and bass, singing, dancing, and playing baseball with his little brother. He previously studied dance at Columbia Elite All-Stars in Hudson and Faxon School of Dance in Chatham. He would like to give a big thank you to Tanya and Lynne for many years of excellent dance instruction. He would also like to thank his previous directors for helping him along the way. Amelia Scheriff

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Amelia Scheriff is from just outside of Chatham, and is honored to be making her regional debut on the Mac-Haydn stage where she grew up watching productions every summer. Along with acting, you’ll also see her working in the box office and backstage for The Sound of Music this season! She has been performing for 10 years. Recent select credits include: DONNA (Mamma Mia!), LADY MACBETH (Macbeth), ANNA (Frozen), VELMA KELLY (Chicago), and JO MARCH (Little Women). When not performing, she can be found playing volleyball, writing, and thrift shopping. Matthew Harper Stevenson

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Matthew Harper Stevenson is a Virginia native but now resides in NYC. He could recently be seen as Younger Brother in Ragtime (American Stage), Kenickie in Grease (Palace Theatre) and Eugene in Grease again! (Interlakes Summer Theater). After graduating from Christopher Newport University with a degree in Musical Theater and Dance, he would take part in different workshops in the city such as new musicals Like the Wind, Survival of St. Joan and My Pet Dragon. He would like specifically to thank his parents Bob and Laura for their endless support, his sisters Brittany and Erin for their undoubted love and reassurance and his beautiful girlfriend Sarah for inspiring him to be the best he can be every day. Stephanie is an actor, singer, and dancer hailing from Clinton, North Carolina. She is ecstatic to be making her Mac-Haydn debut! Taylor is beyond excited to be spending her summer here at Mac-Haydn Theatre. Hailing from Newnan, GA, (30 mins outside of Atlanta) she is a recent grad from Shenandoah Conservatory, and is very excited to start her post-grad career performing here. Her favorite past roles include: Heather Duke in HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL, Sally in REEFER MADNESS, Alice in staged reading of a new script for Frank Wildhorn’s WONDERLAND, and getting to Assistant Direct TUCK EVERLASTING, under the direction of original cast member Michael Park, and choreographed by Shannon Lewis. Kassi McMillan

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Kassi McMillan is overjoyed to be making her Mac-Haydn Theatre debut this summer! Originally from Fort Lauderdale, FL she currently attends the University of Cincinnati (CCM) and will be a Senior Musical Theatre major this fall. Her favorite CCM credits include Anna in Spring Awakening, Melpomene in Xanadu, and Honoria in Rocket Science. She is the 2019 Papermill Playhouse Rising Star Award Winner for Best Actress as Alice Murphy in Bright Star. In addition to appearing onstage, you can catch her as Gina in Henry Danger on Nickelodeon. Besides theatre, Kassi loves to bake and decorate cakes and play with her three dogs. Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

This is Jerome’s first time performing with Mac-Haydn. He is extremely excited for this new and challenging endeavor and can’t wait to get started. This will be his third time performing out of high school. He previously played Mr. Wormwood in Upstage Productions’ “Matilda” and more recently he played Aaron Jablonski in Ghent Playhouse’s presentation of “Invitation to a March.” Jerry lives in a small town in Greene County where he works as a landscaper and asbestos inspector. However, he is actively pursuing a full time career in acting and performing and is determined to continue working his way further and further up the ladder in this industry. He looks forward to learning everything he can this summer.

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Mark Tran Russ (he/him) just received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory in May and is so excited to make his post-college debut at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. Originally from Long Island, he is looking forward to performing so close to home and the city that made him fall in love with theatre. Some of his favorite credits include Godspell (Lamar), Cinderella (Lord Pinkleton), and A Chorus Line (Don Kerr). Besides performing, he also loves skating (both ice and roller), cooking, and coding! Ofer Gordon is an Israeli-born actor and is a recent graduate from The Hartt School’s BFA Music Theatre training program. Neal Bechman is incredibly proud and excited to be joining the Mac-Haydn Theatre cast in this incredible season. Making his Mac-Haydn Theatre debut! Neal couldn’t think of a better way to spend his summer, especially in the ensemble of such stellar shows. Neal is a NYC based performer, but a Pittsburgh native, and a graduate of Point Park University Conservatory of Performing Arts. His favorite credits include 42nd Street, The Who’s Tommy, Glory Days, and every cat in Cats in front of his Gramma’s TV. Arthur Beutel

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Arthur Beutel is a classically trained singer based in New York City. His dynamic, high-energy approach to performing in both musical theater and classical styles brings his unique brand of humor to the stage for all to enjoy. He received his Bachelor of Music in Opera from Colorado State University and a Graduate Certificate in Vocal Performance from the University of Connecticut. Arthur is studying classical voice with baritone, Brian Montgomery and musical theater with Chris Citera of the Mike Ruckles Voice Studio. Arthur recently made his off-broadway debut playing Mr.Pinkerton in PINKALICIOUS: THE MUSICAL with Vital Theatre Company at the Soho Playhouse. He spent last summer in Lincoln, NH with NCCA Jean’s Playhouse performing The Sound of Music (Max Detweiler), Cabaret (Ernst Ludwig) and Mamma Mia! (Bill Anderson). Arthur joined The Metropolitan Opera for their final production of Verdi’s AIDA (2022-2023) and in Poulenc’s Dialogue of the Carmelites (2023).

Rachel Revellese

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Rachel is so excited to be spending the summer at Mac-Haydn Theatre! She is a New Hampshire born singer, actor, and (tap)dancer who studies musical theater at Syracuse University. She fell in love with theater through tap dance and has won numerous regional and national titles in the style. She is currently an ambassador for the global dance brand SoDanca and can be found dancing on their social media. Rachel has previously been seen in Syracuse Stage’s The Little Mermaid (Swing, Scuttle u/s) and Matilda (Swing) and Interlakes Theatre’s Cats (Jennyanydots) and Grease (Patty, Sandy u/s). Ricky Dobbs is so ecstatic to be back at the Mac-Haydn for another summer. Hayden Ponjuan

Hayden Ponjuan is delighted to be making his Mac-Haydn Theatre debut! Hayden, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana native, is currently pursuing a BFA in Music Theatre at The Hartt School. Recent credits include Aaron Mckinney in The Laramie Project (The Hartt School) Che Guevara in Evita (Jean’s Playhouse) Rolf in The Sound of Music (Jean’s Playhouse) and Ren McCormack in Footloose (Theatre Baton Rouge). Mia Sempertegui

Mia Sempertegui is a current graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. In the Fall she is off to Los Angeles to complete her training and receive her BFA in Theatre. She was born and raised in Queens, NY. Mia’s most recent project was the short film POCHA, directed by Carly Oscar, and she played Vic, the main protagonist. She has also performed in cabarets and concerts all throughout NYC since she was in high school. When not performing she is picking up new hobbies that interest her, such as crocheting, ceramics, sewing, piano, and writing music. William Taitel

William Taitel is a Baritone from Rockaway, New Jersey. This will be his second season of performances at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. He is super excited to give his all this season, especially since the world has been in a state of chaos and he has been cooped up inside for too long. Jonah Hale

Jonah is an NYC-based performer and is thrilled to be returning to Chatham and the Mac-Haydn stage this summer. Originally from Minnesota, Jonah moved to New York City in the fall of 2015 to attend Wagner College where he later graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Performance and a Minor in Dance. Jonah was last seen on the Mac-Haydn stage in 2022 as a gangster brushing up his Shakespeare in Kiss Me Kate. Other favorite Mac-Haydn credits include Kenickie in Grease, Sammy in The Wedding Singer, Smokey in Damn Yankees, and Santa Clause in Annie. Sam Seleznow

Sam is so excited to be back in Chatham with his Mac-Haydn family and is grateful to be doing theater again. Past credits include: Footloose (Ren), Sweeney Todd (Tobias), Grease (Johnny Casino), Ragtime (Tateh u/s), James and the Giant Peach (Grasshopper), Matilda (Big Kid), and many others at Mac-Haydn and at other regional theaters. Sam has also worked as a production singer for two cruise lines traveling all over the world and working in Germany. Sam was stranded at sea for two months at the beginning of the pandemic and is happy to be back on land! Sam will soon be releasing a music project that he wrote, co-produced, and recorded during the pandemic so look out for that (ig- @samseleznow). Sam is a Hartt school Alumni. Maya is grateful to return to Mac-Haydn for her second year! Angie Colonna

Look out old Mac is back!! Angie is beyond thankful to be returning to a theatre she calls home. Angie made her Mac-Haydn debut in 2019, receiving a nomination for Broadway Worlds Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Rizzo in Grease. Angie is thrilled to take on the role of dance captain and choreographer this summer! Angie is so grateful to be able to continue spreading joy, being an ally and lifting others up all while doing what she loves most. Thank you John, James, Jill and my dear friend Spates for all your continued love and support! Angie dedicates everything she does to her Colonna Army. You’re my way, my moon and my life. Emma O’Kane

Emma O’Kane (Ensemble) is overjoyed to return to the Mac-Haydn Theater this season for their production of Footloose. Previously, Emma has been seen in the Mac-Haydn’s productions of Annie and the Pinocchio Show. Her recent shows include, A Little Night Music (Schenectady Light Opera House), The Wedding Singer (Playhouse Stage Co.) and Freaky Friday (Columbia High School). When not on the theatrical stage, she is often seen performing vocally or supporting her sister Riley’s theatrical and vocal performances. Emma would like to thank her music and dance mentors, friends and family for their endless support. This is Emily’s 12th season with Mac-Haydn! However, this will be her first season as Props Designer. Randy is elated to be making his Mac Haydn debut! A North Carolina native, Randy is now located in NYC as a performer and voice actor. Credits include Smokey Joes Cafe (Theatre Raleigh), Grease (North Carolina Theatre), Little Shop of Horrors (La Comedia), Scrooge No More (Busch Gardens Williamsburg), Anything Goes and Legally Blonde (Temple Theatre).

Troy Lingelbach

Troy Lingelbach is an actor and aerialist based in NYC. He recently graduated from Marymount Manhattan College this May with a BA in Theatre Arts and a Triple Minor in Musical Theatre, Philosophy and Hispanic Studies. As a circus performer, Troy is a specialist and instructor in aerial silks, Lyra, rope, contortion, and dance trapeze and has performed with such companies as ABCirque, The Circus Collective of San Diego, Cirko Teleskóptico, and Lindley Lopez Productions. He recently starred in an aerial adaptation of Stravinski’s Petrushka, and in 2016 placed second in both the Male Silks and Lyra categories at the US Aerial Championships. In college, Troy performed in Punk Rock, Kiss Me, Kate!, the NYC premier of Wildhorn’s Zelda, and South Pacific. Outside of school, he has performed Chicago, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, and Shrek as part of Clear Space Theatre Company’s summer season. He is thrilled to be at the Mac this summer!

Zachary Swartout

Zachary Swartout is a Pennsylvania native who grew up with dreams of being a performer, so naturally he is thrilled to be joining the Mac-Haydn Theatre Family! After graduating high school he moved to New York City to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). Since graduating, Zachary has performed all over the city. He has done several cabaret shows, performed in a fully immersive production of Andrew Lippa’s “The Wild Party”, and sung in a Dean Martin tribute concert at The Carnegie Hall. Originally from Australia, Charlie has been on stage since the age of 12. After training with Cecchetti Ballet of Australia, Charlie made the move to New York City where he studied at AMDA. Patrick Wemitt

Patrick Wemitt grew up in Chatham, NY within walking distance of the MacHayden when performances were held in the fairgrounds of the Columbia County Fair. He was the first to be entertained by his sister, Monica Wemitt, as she would practice her tap dancing on the hard wood floors while we were trying to watch football or Saturday cartoons. He taught elementary school for 20 years and was an school administrator for twelve years. He was a sergeant in the Marine Corps and a Vietnam Veteran. He’s been a patron of the theater since its inception and was one of the first contractors to work on its current site. He is also the chaplain at the Chatham Fire Department.

Glenn is stepping out of his box office night manager role and into his “Hairy Ishmaelite” role in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT for the 7th time! From Kinderhook, NY he has been with Mac-Haydn for 30 plus years (he’s losing count at this point!) and when he’s not at Mac-Haydn he works full-time at Columbia County Mental Health. Other Mac-Haydn credits include FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Priest) and FOOTLOOSE (Principal Clark). Film work includes FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM (LokenMann Productions/Kristanna Loken/Bruce Dern-news reporter/Mr. Dern’s stand-in). Glenn is also president of “The Friends of Mac-Haydn Theatre” and sincerely appreciates all of the support shown during Mac-Haydn’s fund raising campaigns. Patrick Heffernan is happy to be back at Mac-Haydn for a forth summer! His first season was in 2012 and he’s been seen on stage in shows such as LEGALLY BLONDE (Emmett), THE FANTASTICS (El Gallo), SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN (Don Lockwood) and WEST SIDE STORY (Gladhand). National Tours include: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Perchik), ANYTHING GOES and 42ND STREET. Patrick graduated Wagner College and is originally from southern CA, though Chatham has become a home away from home. Sebastiani is full of gratitude to the Mac-Hadyn for having him back for their 50th season. He has been a part of many shows at the Mac-Hadyn both on and off the stage. Last season his choreography for Hello, Dolly! won Outstanding Choreography at the Berkshire Theatre Awards. Other Mac-Hadyn credits include Spamalot, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Addams Family, and The Producers. Some of his other credits Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party (Yale), Spring Awakening (Sarah Lawrence), Kiss of the Spider Woman (NYU), Walk the Night (Blue Barn Theater), and as a collaborator on the New York Times Critic’s pick The Grand Paradise. He works as an assistant to and collaborator with Chris Gattelli (Broadway: Newsies, War Paint, Spongebob Squarepants Musical). He is also a performer and has performed at Lincoln Center, Merry Go Round Playhouse, Sleep No More(NYC), Seeing You (NYC), and The Grand Paradise (NYC). Thrilled to be back at the Mac for his fourth season!!! Paul is an actor singer, guitarist, and teaching artist for The National Dance Institute, The Mac Haydn Theatre, and Artistree Theatre Company. Paul has also performed with several NYC artists including Wesley Zurich, Maddy Wyatt, Blake Whyte, David Are, Laith Al-Sadhi, Halle Petro, Jennifer Sanchez, Dana Haynes, Alli Foss, Jac n’ Swallow, Eric Day, and Theresa Kloos. Paul just finished the amazing Big Green Theatre Festival with the Superhero Clubhouse and The Bushwick Starr, centered around climate change and environmentalism. Paul studied at the University of Michigan.
