Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Mason is in 8th grade and attends Chatham Middle School. He is excited about the opportunity to act in his first production at MacHayden. Some of Mason’s acting credits include , the production of The Nerd (Thor) at The Theatre Barn, the film When We Grow Up (Milo), and a variety of school and community productions. His favorite productions being The Music Man (Winthrop) and The Lion King (Simba). Mason credits Edgar Acevedo and the Columbia County Youth Theatre program for helping to hone his acting skills and instill within him a love of theatre. When Mason is not on stage, he is busy taking dance classes, piano lessons, and playing goalkeeper for his soccer team.

Aidan is very excited to return to the Mac-Haydn Theatre this summer. Aidan, age 15, is going into his junior year at Chatham High School. He has been acting since the age of seven and enjoys spending time with his horse, Archie, when not acting. Some of his favorite roles include Nathan Lukowski in The Full Monty (MHT), Harry Bright in Mamma Mia! (Chatham High production), Winthrop in The Music Man (Columbia County Youth Theater), Bagheera in The Jungle Book (middle school production), Troll and the male swing in Little Women (high school production), Nigel in Matilda the Musical (MCPA), and Feste in Twelfth Night (high school production). Other productions include School House Rock Jr., The Knight at Dawn, Pirates Past Noon, Frozen Jr., Aladdin Jr., Alice in Wonderland and Into The Woods. Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Dean Marino is a New York based professional actor and educator. Some of Dean’s performance credits include: “The Spongebob Musical” (Patrick Star), “Love and Information” (Various Roles), “Mary Poppins” (Robertson Ay), and “All Shook Up” (Sheriff Earl). He also had the opportunity to travel with Disney Cruise Line as a performer in Rapunzel’s Royal Table. As an educator, Dean has directed at the NCTC Performing Arts Company and at the URJ Eisner Camp. His educational experiences have expanded to other countries, and he taught English to students in Italy and virtually taught to students in China. In May, Dean completed his Master’s program at NYU Steinhardt for Educational Theatre and English education. He is a proud alumni of the program.

Trevor is excited to be back for this second summer at Mac-Haydn! Originally from Crystal Lake, Illinois, Trevor graduated with his Degree in Musical Theatre and Dance from The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He is currently based in New York City. Current roles include Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (Arizona Broadway Theatre), Mike/Mark US in A Chorus Line, Tiny Tim in Urinetown, and Ralph in Kiss Me, Kate! here at the mac. Anna is thrilled to be making her Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut, starring as Maggie in A Chorus Line and understudying Kate in Kiss Me Kate/Natalie in Next to Normal! Other favorite credits include Heather Chandler in Heathers: The Musical, Serena in Legally Blonde, Chastity in Anything Goes, and Ensemble in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Anna earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. She also studied acting and new works under the National Theater Institute’s Theatermakers program at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. When she’s not performing, she enjoys reading, playing DnD, and cuddling with her cat, Darcy. Hailing from Freeport, The Bahamas, Nina is a recent AMDA NY graduate and is excited to be joining the Mac-Hadyn Theatre this summer. When you watch Nina perform, you’d never guess that she once struggled with stage fright. Nina’s love for singing and acting started at a young age, but for a long time, her performances were confined to her bedroom where she’d belt out pop songs and reenact scenes from TV shows in front of her mirror. All of that changed when Nina was cast in her local theatre’s production of “Oliver! The Musical” — that first dress rehearsal was the moment she fell in love with the magical world of live theatre. Now, she’s thrilled to finally be pursuing her dreams in New York.

Cody Edwards is thrilled to be making his Mac-Haydn Theatre debut this season! Regional credits include Mill Mountain Theatre: Spring Awakening (Hanschen), The Sound of Music (Rolf), A Year with Frog and Toad (Frog); The Riverside Center: Meet Me in St. Louis (Lon Smith), Grease (Ens. U/S Kenickie); The Barn Theatre: The 25th Annual… Spelling Bee (Leaf). Other favorite credits include American Idiot (Will), Into The Woods (Rapunzel’s Prince/ Wolf), Parade (Peavy U/S Britt Craig). Ricky Dobbs is so ecstatic to be back at the Mac-Haydn for another summer. He was seen last summer at the Mac as Mike Costa in “A Chorus Line”, Thalia in “Xanadu”, most famously your intermission 50/50 host, and in other shows across the summer. Some of his other favorite roles include Musidorus in “Head Over Heels” and Buddy the Elf in “Elf the Musical”. Ricky cannot be more excited to be spending another summer in Chatham, NY and is stoked to see so many friendly faces and so many new ones this season. Bella DePaola is so excited to return to The Mac Haydn Theatre for year 2! Last year she had the pleasure of being Val in A Chorus Line, Becky Two Shoes in Urinetown (U/S Penelope Pennywise), Susan Hershy in The Full Monty (U/S Georgie Bukatinski), and ensemble in Kiss Me Kate. This year, she made her Pace University Musical Theatre Mainstage debut in Into the Woods as Jack’s Mom (U/S Baker’s Wife, assistant choreographer), performed at 54 Below in The Golden Project, and was in a workshop of a new musical created by Nathan Tysen and Nippe Ankarblom. Other past credits include Chicago (Velma Kelly), Curtains (Roberta), and Oklahoma! (Skidmore Sister). A Brooklyn based band leader, pianist, conductor, and music director, Emily has been seen conducting in theaters all over the country on such National Tours as Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Color Purple, and Ragtime, and can be found regularly accompanying and music directing around the New York City area. Eric is thrilled to return to the Mac-Haydn team as the music supervisor and is excited to bring Chatham audiences such an incredible line-up of musicals. As an actor, Eric has been seen across the country and abroad, including productions at Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, The Cape Playhouse, Lyric Theatre Company, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Maine State Music Theatre, and Florida Repertory Theatre. He has sung with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed in touring productions of Cats, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He would like to thank the entire Mac-Haydn staff for their support, especially John.

Julia Hajjar is absolutely thrilled to be back performing at Mac-Haydn Theatre. She has appeared here in Beehive as Allison, ToUch an all immersive performance where she originated the role of The Devil! A few of her favorite shows she was apart of are: Mamma Mia on Hilton Head Island. Urinetown, Hope Cladwell. Chicago, as Hunyak and understudied as Roxie Hart. The Music Man, Zaneeta. Xander “XAXA” James is thrilled to be back at The Mac-Haydn! Having made his debut last year as Georg in “She Loves Me”, he jumped at the chance to be a part of this season as Jerry in “The Full Monty”. After a 10 year break Xander is happy to be back doing theater a bit more regularly. Some of his favorite roles include, Henry in “Next to Normal”, Chip in “Spelling Bee”, Jud in “Oklahoma”, and Frankie in “Forever Plaid”. Outside of The Mac, Xander spends his days as a professional musician in New York City under the moniker XAXA. He has had the pleasure of playing some of NYC landmarks such as Groove, Cafe Wha?, The Red Lion, City Winery, and The Rainbow Room. Amber is a New York Based Performer and always loves being back at the Mac! Her passion is to create waves of art in musical theatre and the performance industry as a whole. You may recognize her from previous recent seasons at the Mac-haydn. outside of performing, Amber loves spending her time thrift shopping, rearranging her apartment for the 50th time and of course hanging out with her wonderful friends. Holly Lauren Dayton began performing at the age of 8 training in all disciplines of dance and piano. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University, double-majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurship. She has performed with the national tours of Elf the Musical and The Elf on the Shelf Musical. Regional credits include: A Chorus Line, Chicago, Crazy for You, Oklahoma, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Mamma Mia and Footloose. She was featured with Lady GaGa in the Sinatra100 CBS Special and Steve Wynn’s Showstoppers in Las Vegas. She is so grateful to be back at the Mac-Haydn and gives thanks to God for providing a path to pursue her passions everyday.

Todd L. Underwood is excited to be back at Mac-Hadyn Theater. He was last here as the director/choreographer for Man of La Mancha. He is the Associate Artistic Director at Ivoryton Playhouse in CT. Regional credits: A Chorus Line, Grease, The Color Purple, Man of La Mancha, West Side Story, Saturday Night Fever (Connecticut Critics Circle Award nomination), Rent, Chicago, La Cage aux Folles, Dreamgirls, Chicago, AIDA, The Princess and the Black-Eyed Pea (NAACP Theater Award nomination), independent film, Were the World Mine (Astaire Award nomination), Memphis (Bay Area Circle Critics Award and Connecticut Critics Circle Award nominations), Ain’t We Got Fun (London Concert). His work is featured in the movie musical Hello Again starring Audra McDonald, Cheyenne Jackson and Martha Plimpton, also receiving a Chita Rivera Award nomination for Best Choreography in Film.

Anthony Velez is honored to be returning to the Mac- Haydn Theatre for their 2023 season. He is excited to have graduated NYU Tisch this year! His most recent credits include Al/James Haupt (BANDSTAND) at the Department of Drama’s New Studio on Broadway. You might remember his past roles as Paul San Marco (A CHORUS LINE), Sancho (MAN OF LA MANCHA) & Arpad Laszlo (SHE LOVES ME) at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. Anthony is also a National Youth Arts Awards 2019 recipient for the category of Best Actor in a Musical as Jack Kelly in NEWSIES (Pied Piper Youth Theatre). He is looking forward to taking his career to the next level by attending Peridance Conservatory in the Spring of 2024. Andrew Burton Kelley is thrilled to be returning to the Mac-Haydn! Andrew lives in NYC with his wife and fellow actor Rachel Pantazis, but is originally from Westminster, MA. He has performed across the country in the National Tour of Waitress, and on Carnival Cruise Lines, along with many regional productions in New Hampshire, Michigan, Massachusetts, and New York. Past Mac-Haydn roles include Sonny (Xanadu), Henry (Next to Normal), Will Parker (Oklahoma!), Lewis (Pippin), Kodlay (She Loves Me, Berkshire Theatre Award Nominated), Houdini (Ragtime), and Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors). Brian D. Wagner is happy to be back for his 6th season at the Mac! He was most recently seen in URINETOWN (Senator Fipp) and THE FULL MONTY (Ensemble.) Gabe Belyeu is ecstatic to be back home at the Mac for another season! Last year you saw him as Zach in A Chorus Line, Officer Lockstock in Urinetown, Dr. Madden in Next to Normal, and Harold in The Full Monty; as well as his Berkshire Theatre Award winning performance in his cabaret, A Call to Places. Over the past year, Gabe was featured in The Great Gatsby at Ivoryton Playhouse and starred in Scrooge the musical at Theatre Workshop of Nantucket. Other favorite roles at the Mac include Cervantes in Man of La Mancha, Christopher Belling in Curtains, Tateh in Ragtime, Arthur in Camelot, and Roger DeBris in The Producers, to name a few.
