Jimm Halliday

Beginning with Annie in 1984, Jimm has been a fixture here at The Mac for 33 seasons, having designed over 185 MainStage musicals. With the NETworks Touring Group, Jimm has been the Costume Director for over 25 National Tours since 1999, including Victor/Victoria with Toni Tennille, Annie at Madison Square Garden with Katie Lee Gifford, Bully with John Davidson, and Sweet Charity with Molly Ringwold. Jimm was the US Costume Associate for the last National Tour of Les Misérables and the Costume Director for the Toronto production of the show, which then transferred to Broadway. He also was Costume Director for the Kennedy Center production of Ragtime, winning the Helen Hayes Award for Best Costume Design. This fall Jimm will be working on the National Tours of The Sound of Music and The Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. Special thanks to the amazing collection of cutters, stitchers, wardrobe and wig designers that have made these productions come to life, and to Lynne, John and Monica for always being there.
