Tania Barrenechea

Tania is a scenic designer and artisan for the theatre. She received her B. Arch in architecture from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in 2015. Before beginning her MFA, she worked as an architect for 5 years in the architecture studio Vicca Verde in Lima, Peru.

She received her MFA in Scenic Design from the Pennsylvania State University. Production credits include A Little Night Music directed by Phillip Fazio and To kill a Mockingbird directed by Susan Schulman at The Pennsylvania State University. She has assisted Milagros Ponce de Leon in the Production of Miss you Like Hell at the Olney Theatre Center in Maryland and Life is a dream at the Gala Theatre in DC.

She is the Head of Design at the University of Central Arkansas and an Assistant Professor of design at the Film, Theatre and Creative Writing Department.

Cydney Gleckner

Cydney Gleckner is overjoyed to return to the Mac-Haydn Theatre for her second summer season. In the upcoming fall, she will be a senior at Marymount Manhattan College in NYC. She made her college MainStage debut her sophomore year as Carrie White in Carrie: The Musical. Other favorite roles include Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, and “Bless the Lord” in Godspell. When she is not performing, Cydney enjoys cooking, cycling, playing with her dogs, and driving around in her Toyota RAV4. She wants to thank her parents, Coehl, Rosie, Belle, Jon, Michael, and the entire cast/crew at the Mac. Thank you all for the consistent guidance and endless support!

Matthew Harper Stevenson

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Matthew Harper Stevenson is a Virginia native but now resides in NYC. He could recently be seen as Younger Brother in Ragtime (American Stage), Kenickie in Grease (Palace Theatre) and Eugene in Grease again! (Interlakes Summer Theater). After graduating from Christopher Newport University with a degree in Musical Theater and Dance, he would take part in different workshops in the city such as new musicals Like the Wind, Survival of St. Joan and My Pet Dragon. He would like specifically to thank his parents Bob and Laura for their endless support, his sisters Brittany and Erin for their undoubted love and reassurance and his beautiful girlfriend Sarah for inspiring him to be the best he can be every day. Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Stephanie is an actor, singer, and dancer hailing from Clinton, North Carolina. She is ecstatic to be making her Mac-Haydn debut! Recent select credits include: Sandy Dumbrowski (GREASE), Cecily Cardew (THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST), Jo March (LITTLE WOMEN), Campbell Davis (BRING IT ON!), Theresa (CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION), Brooke Wyndham (LEGALLY BLONDE), Young Maid (BERNARDA ALBA), and Suzannah (HAIR). Alessandra Alcala

Alessandra Alcala is a Southern California native and very excited to be on this side of the country for the Mac-Haydn’s 2023 Season! Most recently she served as the Music Assistant/Keyboard Sub for Center Theatre Group’s revival of “The Secret Garden” at LA’s Ahmanson Theatre. Other credits: Great American Melodrama (Resident MD/Composer/Arranger), SLO REP (MD: Xanadu, The Marvelous Wonderettes), Pacific Conservatory Theatre (Asst. MD: The Secret Garden, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, MD: Chicago). She is a graduate of the University of Montana School of Music, and studied Choral Music/Conducting through the Delaware Choral Symposium in Provence, France. When not behind the keyboard, you can catch her playing this weird instrument called the fife – select performances include: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Universal Studios, and Disneyland. Kassi McMillan

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Kassi McMillan is overjoyed to be making her Mac-Haydn Theatre debut this summer! Originally from Fort Lauderdale, FL she currently attends the University of Cincinnati (CCM) and will be a Senior Musical Theatre major this fall. Her favorite CCM credits include Anna in Spring Awakening, Melpomene in Xanadu, and Honoria in Rocket Science. She is the 2019 Papermill Playhouse Rising Star Award Winner for Best Actress as Alice Murphy in Bright Star. In addition to appearing onstage, you can catch her as Gina in Henry Danger on Nickelodeon. Besides theatre, Kassi loves to bake and decorate cakes and play with her three dogs. She would like to thank her parents and sister for their constant love and support!

Hailing from Wisconsin, Jake Koch is absolutely overjoyed to be returning to Chatham this summer. Last summer, you may have seen Jake in the Mac’s 42nd Street (Bert), Footloose (Willard), The Sound of Music (Franz), and Godspell (“We Beseech Thee”). Jake is rising Senior at Manhattan School of Music and is a proud student of Sam McKelton’s voice studio. He was most recently seen in MSM’s Bye Bye Birdie (Mrs. Peterson), Paperboy (Willie, u/s Paperboy) and Valentino’s Tango (Ensemble, u/s Jesse Lasky). Some of his other credits include The Addams Family (Uncle Fester), Hairspray (I.Q.), Les Misérables (Thénardier) and the world premiere production of Goosebumps the Musical (Zeke). Bella DePaola is so excited to return to The Mac Haydn Theatre! Trey Compton (Director, Godspell) is thrilled to return to The Mac having directed Urinetown last summer. A New York City based director, regional directing credits include: The Fulton, Riverside, Engeman, Millbrook, Lincoln Park, and Cortland Repertory (SALT Award- 2019.) As an assistant or associate director, Off-Broadway credits include Yank! (The York) and White’s Lies (New World Stages.) Also, multiple credits regionally at Seattle 5th Avenue, Goodspeed, and The Ogunquit Playhouse. He has directed at various Universities and Colleges including Penn, Georgetown, Stephens, Nazareth, and his alma mater, Pace University. Eric is thrilled to return to MHT for his 3rd season. He is delighted for audiences to experience the incredible talents of the entire company. His music direction at MHT include Urinetown, Next To Normal, Footloose, Godspell, and last season’s smash hit Jersey Boys. He also proudly music directed the Berkshire Theatre Award Winning A Call To Places starring Gabe Belyeu. Elsewhere, Eric has music directed productions of My Way, Scrooge, A Man of No Importance, and numerous concerts and cabarets. Amber is a New York Based Performer and is always stoked to be back at the Mac! Her passion is to create waves of art in musical theatre and in the performance industry as a whole, expanding the hearts and minds of theatre lovers everywhere. Anthony Michael Velez is so grateful to be returning to the Mac-Haydn Theatre for their 2024 Season. This will be his fourth season in a row here! You might remember his past roles as Paul San Marco (A Chorus Line), Sancho (Man of La Mancha) and Arpad Laszlo (She Loves Me) at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. He recently made his Off-Broadway debut as a Standby/Swing in El Otro Oz at the Atlantic Theatre. Anthony was the recipient of the 2019 National Youth Arts Awards for Best Actor in a Musical as Jack Kelly in Newsies (Pied Piper Youth Theatre). When he’s not on stage, Anthony works as a Teaching Artist for Broadway Bound Kids. He would like to thank his family and friends for always supporting his passion for the arts.

Elizabeth McGuire is a dancer, choreographer, and arts advocate living in NYC. In 2011, Elizabeth Co-Founded ToUch Performance Art, a dance-theater company that specializes in immersive and multi-disciplinary performances, and has produced over 50 shows as Co-Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer. She has choreographed at the Signature Theater, the Connelly Theater, AMDA, and the Manhattan School of Music. Elizabeth serves as Executive Director for Broadway Bound Kids, a non-profit dedicated to providing access to arts education in NYC. Emily Grace Allen is so happy to be returning to the Mac-Haydn Theatre once again! Emily just graduated from Marymount Manhattan College and is so excited to take the next step in her artistic journey. During the year, she kept busy working and training. She had the opportunity to train at the 30 Rock Wig Shop working on things for SNL and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She also performed as a featured dancer in the ensemble of Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at Marymount. Angela Carstensen is thrilled to be back at The Mac for a sixth year! Broadway credits include Funny Girl. TV credits include The Food That Built America, History Channel. Regional Theatre costume design credits include, The Legend of Georgia McBride (Ivoryton Playhouse), Footloose (Theatre Workshop Nantucket). Previous Mac-Haydn costume design credits include: Xanadu & The Full Monty (2022), Pippin (2021), Cabaret (2018), Saturday Night Fever & Spamalot (2017) and South Pacific (2016).
