Kevin Gleason – This is Kevin’s eighteenth season at the Mac-Haydn. He is a sought after designer in the New York/ Connecticut area, but is happy to call Chatham “home” each summer. His favorite show was LEGALLY BLONDE (2012).
Andrew Gmoser (Lighting Designer) is thrilled to be back for his 23rd season at the Mac-Haydn Theatre, after coming to “help out” with the tech for PHANTOM in 1992. Since then he has designed the lighting for more than 140 MHT shows and created the sets for some of our most spectacular productions, including BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, JEKYLL & HYDE, LES MISERABLES, and YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. Andrew loves his job designing for all levels of theatre, from high school programs through professional Broadway-caliber productions, and received the Cab Calloway Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Performing Arts in Westchester. Since 1990 he has designed the lighting and visual effects for all mainstage productions at Westchester Broadway Theatre, the longest running professional theatre in NYS. Andrew’s best and most important production is with his lovely wife, Catherine: their seventeen year old twins, Thomas and Elizabeth!
Jimm Halliday (Costume Designer) Beginning with ANNIE in 1984 Jimm has been a fixture here for 32 seasons, having designed more than 165 Main Stage musicals. he has been the Costume Director with NETworks Tours since 1999, shows include: VICTOR/VICTORIA with Toni Tennille, ANNIE with Katie Lee Gifford, BULLY with John Davidson, and SWEET CHARITY with Molly Ringwold among the many. Jimm was the US Costume Associate for the last National Tour of LES MISERABLES and the Costume Director for the Toronto production, which transferred to Broadway last year. He won the Helen Hayes Award for Best Costume Design for his work on the Kennedy Center production of RAGTIME. Jimm is also the Costume Director for the National Asian Arts project, an organization that works to bring an Asian esthetic to classic American musicals through productions mounted in NYC each year. Jimm’s work can be seen in current touring productions of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY and ONCE. Special thanks to the amazing collection of cutters, stitchers, wardrobe, and wig designers that have made these productions come to life, and to Lynne, John, and Monica for always being there.
