Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Ricky Dobbs is a recent graduate from Long Island University Post where he attained his BFA in Musical Theatre. He was most recently seen as Musidorus in “Head Over Heels” at Post Theatre Company, as a Dancer in Post Concert Dance Companies “Encore,” and was almost seen as Georg in “Spring Awakening” with Sparked Productions, thank you Covid. He couldn’t be more ecstatic to be spending his whole summer with Mac-Haydn Theatre, performing in some dream shows! Robin Campbell is thrilled to be returning to the MacHaydn Theatre after directing and choreographing The World Goes Round last season! Broadway credits include Big Fish and Hugh Jackman Back on Broadway; Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Girl Crazy, and Stairway to Paradise at City Center Encores!, My Fair Lady with the NY Philharmonic, Broadway to Oz with Hugh Jackman. TV/ Film: Super Bowl Commercial with The Late Show host Stephen Colbert, Blue Bloods, Ugly Betty, Onion Sports Dome, The Consultants, Below the Beltway. Directing/Choreography: The World Goes Round, Legally Blonde, A Chorus Line, Annie, Shrek, The Drowsy Chaperone, Carousel, Sound of Music, Dear Edwina Jr., A Year With Frog and Toad. Teaching credits: NYU Steinhardt, Kidz Theater, Broadway Arts Collective, Broadway Kids Auditions, Madison Theatre at Molloy College, Sacred Heart, Joanne Langione Dance Center. Robin graduated with honors from Columbia University and holds a Masters Degree in Educational Theatre from NYU Steinhardt.

Julia Hajjar is absolutely thrilled to be back performing at Mac-Haydn Theatre. She has appeared here in Beehive as Allison, ToUch an all immersive performance where she originated the role of The Devil! A few of her favorite shows she was apart of are: Mamma Mia on Hilton Head Island. Urinetown, Hope Cladwell. Chicago, as Hunyak and understudied as Roxie Hart. The Music Man, Zaneeta. Guys and Dolls, Adelaide. Legally Blonde, Brooke Wyndham. Catch Me If You Can, Cheryl-Ann. My all time favorite- The Rocky Horror Show. AMDA 2021 and soon-to-be a BFA Graduate at The New School 2022! Amber is Thrilled to be back at the Mac-Haydn for her second season! You may have seen her last season as the Leading Player in Pippin, or as an ensemble member in the one of the other shows. Amber has just graduated from AMDA’s Musical Theatre Conservatory in New York City after two years of hard focused training, and is now excited to be starting her career in performance. She’s wants to thank all of her wonderful teachers back at AMDA, the most important being The Mac-Haydn’s very own John Saunders. She is most excited to see familiar faces and meet all the new ones! She wants to thank her parents and close friends for all of their support in the recent years, she couldn’t do it without them!

Walter “Bobby” McCoy, a proud Nicaraguan-American, is thrilled to be returning to The Mac-Haydn Theatre this season! Andrew Burton Kelley is thrilled to be back at The Mac-Haydn for another amazing summer! He most recently finished touring with the company of Waitress as a Swing. Recent Mac-Haydn credits include: She Loves Me (Kodaly), Man of La Mancha (The Duke), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), and Oklahoma! (Will Parker). Love to his family, his incredible wife Rachel, and the world’s prettiest kitten, Eloise.

Rachel Pantazis

Rachel Pantazis is elated to be returning to the Mac-Hadyn. An NYC based actress, Rachel was a company member in 2019 and played the roles of Nikki in Curtains, Betty in Sunset Boulevard, and Ado Annie in Oklahoma! opposite her incredible husband, Andrew Burton Kelley. Since her time at the Mac, Rachel worked as a production singer for Carnival Cruise Lines out of Miami on itineraries to Mexico and the Bahamas. During the pandemic, Rachel started working as a virtual voice teacher for students of all ages. Rachel was also lucky enough to safely music direct youth theatre at The Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH from fall of 2020-June of 2021. She fully embraced the opportunity to mentor grade school students on virtual platforms and finally in person by the end of May, 2021. Thank you to John, Monica, and the whole Mac team for welcoming her back this summer.

Angela Carstensen

Angela Carstensen is beyond excited to spend a fifth season at The Mac! In the summer of 2016 Angela started at the Mac-Haydn Theatre as the First-Hand in the costume shop and is thrilled to be returning as Costume-Supervisor this season. Previous Mac-Haydn costume design credits include: Pippin (2021), Cabaret (2018), Saturday Night Fever & Spamalot (2017) and South Pacific (2016). In addition to running a costume shop, Angela spent three years on the road with national tours: Waitress (2021, Head of Wardrobe), The Spongebob Musical (2019, Asst. Wardrobe) and The Sound of Music (2018, Asst. Wardrobe). When not working, Angela can be found petting the nearest dog. Angela would like to thank Anthony for his love and support and everyone at The Mac-Haydn Theatre for keeping the dream alive!
