Eric Van Tielen

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Eric Van Tielen is overjoyed to be working with this dream team on such a monumental piece of musical theatre. Eric has been seen on Broadway in Les Miserables and A Tale of Two Cities. He has had international engagements with the Tokyo Philharmonic and in Prince of Broadway, directed by Hal Prince. Eric has toured nationally with Fiddler on the Roof and Les Miserables. Regional credits include Syracuse Stage, Berkshire Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, Indiana Rep, Pioneer, Utah Shakespeare Festival and many more. Eric is an accomplished pianist and Voice/Speech specialist. He is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. Anna Langlois

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Anna is thrilled to be making her Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut, starring as Maggie in A Chorus Line and understudying Kate in Kiss Me Kate/Natalie in Next to Normal! Other favorite credits include Heather Chandler in Heathers: The Musical, Serena in Legally Blonde, Chastity in Anything Goes, and Ensemble in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Anna earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. She also studied acting and new works under the National Theater Institute’s Theatermakers program at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. When she’s not performing, she enjoys reading, playing DnD, and cuddling with her cat, Darcy. Anna wants to thank her mom and sister, her friends, and all of her teachers for their support on her journey xoxo

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Cody Edwards is thrilled to be making his Mac-Haydn Theatre debut this season! Regional credits include Mill Mountain Theatre: Spring Awakening (Hanschen), The Sound of Music (Rolf), A Year with Frog and Toad (Frog); The Riverside Center: Meet Me in St. Louis (Lon Smith), Grease (Ens. U/S Kenickie); The Barn Theatre: The 25th Annual… Spelling Bee (Leaf). Other favorite credits include American Idiot (Will), Into The Woods (Rapunzel’s Prince/ Wolf), Parade (Peavy U/S Britt Craig). Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Eric is thrilled to join the Mac-Haydn team as a music director this season! As an actor, Eric has been seen across the country and abroad, including productions at Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, The Cape Playhouse, Lyric Theatre Company, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Maine State Music Theatre, and Florida Repertory Theatre. He has sung with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed in touring productions of Cats, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He would like to thank the entire Mac-Haydn staff for their support, especially John. Eric is excited to bring Chatham audiences such an incredible line-up of musicals. Enjoy!

Amber Mawande-Spytek

Amber is Thrilled to be back at the Mac-Haydn for her second season! You may have seen her last season as the Leading Player in Pippin, or as an ensemble member in the one of the other shows. Amber has just graduated from AMDA’s Musical Theatre Conservatory in New York City after two years of hard focused training, and is now excited to be starting her career in performance. She’s wants to thank all of her wonderful teachers back at AMDA, the most important being The Mac-Haydn’s very own John Saunders. She is most excited to see familiar faces and meet all the new ones! She wants to thank her parents and close friends for all of their support in the recent years, she couldn’t do it without them!

Andrew Burton Kelley

Andrew Burton Kelley is thrilled to be back at The Mac-Haydn for another amazing summer! He most recently finished touring with the company of Waitress as a Swing. Recent Mac-Haydn credits include: She Loves Me (Kodaly), Man of La Mancha (The Duke), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), and Oklahoma! (Will Parker). Love to his family, his incredible wife Rachel, and the world’s prettiest kitten, Eloise.

Jonah Hale

Jonah is an NYC-based performer and photographer who has a passion for both the performing and the visual arts. Jonah, originally from Minnesota, moved to New York City to attend Wagner College in the fall of 2015. He later graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Performace and a Minor in Dance. Jonah is a two-time Mac-Haydn alumnus and is so thrilled to be returning to Chatham this summer. He was last seen on the Mac-Haydn stage in 2018 and 2019 in roles such as Kenickie in Grease, Sammy in The Wedding Singer, Sir Dinadan in Camalot, and Santa Clause in Annie. Thank you to friends and family for all of their love and support.

Kylan Ross

Kylan is thrilled to be back with his Mac-Haydn family for another season. Originally from Ireland, he now calls New York City home. Kylan is a Musical Theatre and Film graduate from the New York Film Academy. Some of Kylans favorite past credits include: THE WORLD GOES ROUND (Berkshire Theatre Award Nominee for Outstanding Lead Male in a Musical 2021), TODRICK HALLS: STRAIGHT OUTTA OZ, North American Tour (The Wizard), PIPPIN (Pippin), NEWSIES (Davey/Race), RAGTIME (Younger Brother), CHESS (Anatoly), SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (Gus), JOSEPH… DREAMCOAT (Joseph), GREASE (Doody). Bethany Marx

Bethany Marx is an Associate Professor of Theatre specializing in Costume Design at SUNY Oneonta in Upstate New York. Design credits for the Mac include Hello, Dolly, Oklahoma, Mamma Mia, The Wedding Singer, and She Loves Me. Bethany has also designed for Capital Repertory Theatre, the DC Fringe Festival, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, the Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre and the Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis. Bethany moved to New York after six years teaching at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she designed and constructed costumes for theatre and film. She holds a BFA from the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN and an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She lives in Oneonta, NY with her husband, step-daughter, and their four cats.

Liz Gurland

Liz Gurland is delighted to be back at The Mac-Haydn Theatre for the 2022 season! Past roles at Mac-Haydn include: Woman 3 in And the World Goes ‘Round, Grandma in Pippin, Fräulein Schneider in Cabaret, Angie in The Wedding Singer and Miss Lynch in Grease. Liz has performed with such diverse organizations as The MacHaydn Theatre, Theatre Now New York, Gallery Players, The Phoenix Theatre (PA), La MaMa E.T.C. and New Jersey Verismo Opera. She created a one woman show in collaboration with the Emily Dickinson Museum. Gabe Belyeu

Gabe Belyeu is elated as always to be returning home to MHT! Most recently, Gabe reprised the role of Jerry in The Full Monty for Virginia Music Theatre. Last season, you saw him in Pippin, She Loves Me (Maraczek), Man of La Mancha (Cervantes/Quixote), and The World Goes ‘Round. This year you will see him in A Chorus Line (Zach), Urinetown (Lockstock), Next to Normal (Dr. Madden), The Full Monty (Harold), as well as his solo concert A Call to Places!
