Eric Van Tielen

Eric Van Tielen is overjoyed to be working with this dream team on such a monumental piece of musical theatre. Eric has been seen on Broadway in Les Miserables and A Tale of Two Cities. He has had international engagements with the Tokyo Philharmonic and in Prince of Broadway, directed by Hal Prince. Eric has toured nationally with Fiddler on the Roof and Les Miserables. Regional credits include Syracuse Stage, Berkshire Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, Indiana Rep, Pioneer, Utah Shakespeare Festival and many more. Eric is an accomplished pianist and Voice/Speech specialist. He is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. Anna Langlois

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Anna is thrilled to be making her Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut, starring as Maggie in A Chorus Line and understudying Kate in Kiss Me Kate/Natalie in Next to Normal! Other favorite credits include Heather Chandler in Heathers: The Musical, Serena in Legally Blonde, Chastity in Anything Goes, and Ensemble in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Anna earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. She also studied acting and new works under the National Theater Institute’s Theatermakers program at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. When she’s not performing, she enjoys reading, playing DnD, and cuddling with her cat, Darcy. Anna wants to thank her mom and sister, her friends, and all of her teachers for their support on her journey xoxo

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Cody Edwards is thrilled to be making his Mac-Haydn Theatre debut this season! Regional credits include Mill Mountain Theatre: Spring Awakening (Hanschen), The Sound of Music (Rolf), A Year with Frog and Toad (Frog); The Riverside Center: Meet Me in St. Louis (Lon Smith), Grease (Ens. U/S Kenickie); The Barn Theatre: The 25th Annual… Spelling Bee (Leaf). Other favorite credits include American Idiot (Will), Into The Woods (Rapunzel’s Prince/ Wolf), Parade (Peavy U/S Britt Craig). Eric Shorey

Eric is thrilled to return to the Mac-Haydn team as the music supervisor and is excited to bring Chatham audiences such an incredible line-up of musicals. As an actor, Eric has been seen across the country and abroad, including productions at Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, The Cape Playhouse, Lyric Theatre Company, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Maine State Music Theatre, and Florida Repertory Theatre. He has sung with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed in touring productions of Cats, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He would like to thank the entire Mac-Haydn staff for their support, especially John.

Amber Mawande-Spytek

Amber is a New York Based Performer and always loves being back at the Mac! Her passion is to create waves of art in musical theatre and the performance industry as a whole. You may recognize her from previous recent seasons at the Mac-haydn. outside of performing, Amber loves spending her time thrift shopping, rearranging her apartment for the 50th time and of course hanging out with her wonderful friends. Her recent credits include Escape To Margaritaville (Marley), Next to Normal (Natalie), Xanadu (Erato), and Pippin (Leading Player). Andrew Burton Kelley

Andrew Burton Kelley is thrilled to be returning to the Mac-Haydn! Andrew lives in NYC with his wife and fellow actor Rachel Pantazis, but is originally from Westminster, MA. He has performed across the country in the National Tour of Waitress, and on Carnival Cruise Lines, along with many regional productions in New Hampshire, Michigan, Massachusetts, and New York. Past Mac-Haydn roles include Sonny (Xanadu), Henry (Next to Normal), Will Parker (Oklahoma!), Lewis (Pippin), Kodlay (She Loves Me, Berkshire Theatre Award Nominated), Houdini (Ragtime), and Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors). Jonah Hale

Jonah is an NYC-based performer and is thrilled to be returning to Chatham and the Mac-Haydn stage this summer. Originally from Minnesota, Jonah moved to New York City in the fall of 2015 to attend Wagner College where he later graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Performance and a Minor in Dance. Jonah was last seen on the Mac-Haydn stage in 2022 as a gangster brushing up his Shakespeare in Kiss Me Kate. Other favorite Mac-Haydn credits include Kenickie in Grease, Sammy in The Wedding Singer, Smokey in Damn Yankees, and Santa Clause in Annie. Jonah would like to thank his friends and his family for all of their love and support. Special shout out to fellow Mac-Haydn alumni Jayke Workman.

Kylan Ross

Kylan is thrilled to be back with his Mac-Haydn family for another season. Originally from Ireland, he now calls New York City home. Kylan is a Musical Theatre and Film graduate from the New York Film Academy. Bethany Marx

Bethany Marx is an Associate Professor of Theatre specializing in Costume Design at SUNY Oneonta in Upstate New York. She has been designing costumes for select Mac-Haydn productions since 2017, including Hello, Dolly!, Oklahoma, Mamma Mia, The Wedding Singer, She Loves Me, Urinetown, and Next to Normal. Bethany has also designed for Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, the Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre, and others. She holds a BFA from the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN and an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Bethany teaches courses in costume design, construction, and history and designs two to three productions annually for SUNY Oneonta. She also enjoys making costumes and cosplaying with her husband and daughter.

Liz Gurland

Liz Gurland is thrilled to be back at The Mac-Haydn Theatre for the 2023 season! Past roles at Mac-Haydn include: Josephine Strong in Urinetown, Woman 3 in And the World Goes ‘Round, Grandma in Pippin, Fräulein Schneider in Cabaret, Angie in The Wedding Singer and Miss Lynch in Grease. Liz appeared as Helen in Fun Home at Hubbard Hall earlier this year. She has performed with such diverse organizations as The MacHaydn Theatre, Hubbard Hall, Theatre Now New York, Gallery Players, The Phoenix Theatre (PA), La MaMa E.T.C. and New Jersey Verismo Opera. She created a one woman show in collaboration with the Emily Dickinson Museum. Gabe Belyeu

Gabe Belyeu is ecstatic to be back home at the Mac for another season! Last year you saw him as Zach in A Chorus Line, Officer Lockstock in Urinetown, Dr. Madden in Next to Normal, and Harold in The Full Monty; as well as his Berkshire Theatre Award winning performance in his cabaret, A Call to Places. Over the past year, Gabe was featured in The Great Gatsby at Ivoryton Playhouse and starred in Scrooge the musical at Theatre Workshop of Nantucket. Other favorite roles at the Mac include Cervantes in Man of La Mancha, Christopher Belling in Curtains, Tateh in Ragtime, Arthur in Camelot, and Roger DeBris in The Producers, to name a few.
