Amanda Calvin

Amanda Calvin (she/her) grew up in the Columbia County area attending shows at the Mac-Haydn, and now has the honor of working with an incredible team to produce the musical theatre she’s always admired.

A graduate of Wagner College, Amanda holds a degree in arts administration with a journalism minor. She served as the president of Completely Student Productions (CSP), a student-run theatre company on campus, where she produced a variety of shows including LIZZIE: The Musical, The Wolves, The Laramie Project, Spring Awakening and various original works. She is a recipient of the Kendris Award in Expository and Journalistic Writing and Outstanding Service in Communication awards for her work as the editor of the Wagnerian, Wagner’s student newspaper.

Amanda has worked with various companies including Rattlestick Theater and Snug Harbor Cultural Center in New York City, and Upstate Scenic, Inc. here in Chatham. In addition to her work in theatrical administration, Amanda is an avid tap dancer and usually can be found hanging out with her cat, Bella. Many thanks to the MHT team for countless opportunities and laughs. @amandajcalvin
