McKinley Foster

McKinley Foster is excited to be playing guitar for “Next to Normal” for his first production at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. While typically on the road as the guitar/mandolin chair for the National Tour of “Fiddler on the Roof,” he has performed in regional theatres across the country in states such as Colorado, New Hampshire, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York. As a composer, his work has been featured in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival with “Oz.org,” and was selected to be featured in “The Isolation Project,” with Alynn Rinah Parola’s “Untitled.” Other recent projects include scoring “The Mount,” a film in collaboration with the dance collective “BODYSONNET,” “Piece of the Pandemic,” an online choose-your-own-adventure story on YouTube. Under the name “Core Memory,” he writes original instrumental beat-based music, available on all streaming services.
