Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Exuberant, studious soon to be 7th grader, passionate about musical theatre, regularly performing with her school drama class and other theatre groups such as Columbia County Youth Theatre in Chatham, NY, The Playgroup Theatre in White Plains, New York, and Standing Ovations (f/k/a Lighthouse Theatre), highlights of Adelaide’s young career have been performing as Ariel in the “Little Mermaid, Jr.”, Olaf and Young Elsa in CCYT’s “Frozen Jr.”, Alladin in “Alladin Jr.”, The Miller in “Little Red Hen”, Lumier in “Beauty and the Beast Jr.”, the Scarecrow in “The Wizard of Oz Jr.”, Violet in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Jr.” Adelaide is excited to join the cast of the Sound of Music in the role as Marta, and extends much thanks and love to her parents, grandparents, voice teacher- Jessica Foglia Klein, and Edgar Acevedo, for their ceaseless support and encouragement.

Adeline Trivers (she/her) is thrilled to be returning to The Mac this summer! Last year, she made her Mac-Haydn Theatre debut as Betty Jean in The Marvelous Wonderettes and is overjoyed to be welcomed back this year as a season company member. Recent Film/TV credits include Monarch (Fox) and Double Down (short), an official selection of the Malibu Film Festival. She recently graduated from The New School in NYC with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Journalism and Design. American Musical and Dramatic Academy NYC graduate. So much love to my friends and mom and dad who have always supported me and encouraged me to follow my dreams! This one’s for you.

Aidan Brennan

Aidan is very excited to return to the Mac-Haydn Theatre this summer. Aidan, age 15, is going into his junior year at Chatham High School. He has been acting since the age of seven and enjoys spending time with his horse, Archie, when not acting. Some of his favorite roles include Nathan Lukowski in The Full Monty (MHT), Harry Bright in Mamma Mia! (Chatham High production), Winthrop in The Music Man (Columbia County Youth Theater), Bagheera in The Jungle Book (middle school production), Troll and the male swing in Little Women (high school production), Nigel in Matilda the Musical (MCPA), and Feste in Twelfth Night (high school production). Other productions include School House Rock Jr., The Knight at Dawn, Pirates Past Noon, Frozen Jr., Aladdin Jr., Alice in Wonderland and Into The Woods. Aidan would like to thank his family, friends and the Mac-Haydn company for all their support!

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Alex Haines is an Orange County/recent NYC based singer, music teacher, and student advocate. She sings to bring light and sense to the human experience, she teaches to make music accessible to all who feel inclined. So – when you don’t see her in the classroom or on stage, you will probably find her at farmers markets, singing folk music and pop covers with her buddies. Past theatre credits include Being Alive Soloist/Sondheim on Sondheim, Lucille/Parade, Lily/Secret Garden, Fiona/Brigadoon, Joanna/Sweeney Todd, Cosette/Les Misérables, and Nettie/Carousel. A warm thank you to the cast, crew and creative team for welcoming me into this family. And to all of the real life Marias out there, I dedicate my words to you – I hope us retelling this classic brings you comfort and guidance, to remind you to stay true to your magical selves.

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Andrew Martin Maguire is thrilled to be making his Mac-Haydn debut in Jersey Boys. Regional/professional credits: Royal Caribbean’s production of Grease onboard the Independence of the Seas (Doody), Source One Fives’s filmed production of The Fantasticks in his hometown of Franklin, TN (Matt), Grandstreet Theatre’s production of Newsies in Helena, Montana (Romeo), and Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma’s production of Titanic (ensemble). Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma City University in 2020 at a time when live theatre was impossible. Charlotte Miller is an 8 YO ready for the stage and excited to be a part of the Sound of Music at the Mac-Haydn Theater. She has performed in school plays, Wizard of OZ – Toto, Winnie the Pooh – Rabbit, piano and singing recitals, church choir solos and 3 Nutcracker Shows. She is intelligent, confident, well behaved and a friendly 4’ tall girl. Charlotte has excelled academically, studied Ballet at The Berkshire Ballet – 4 years; Piano at The Music Studio – 4 years; Vocal at Lisa Franklin for 1 year and has studied Figure Skating Ice for 3 years. She is an excellent athlete for an 8yo and has a determination to compete and be successful. She takes things seriously but yet has a tremendous sense of humor. She is a well rounded young lady.

Emmett Mazurowski

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Emmett is a 7th grade student at O’Rouke Middle School in Burnt Hills, NY. He is excited to make his debut at Mac Hayden Theater. His past school theater credits include Annie Jr (Warbucks), High School Musical Jr (Troy), and Legally Blonde Jr (Grand Master Chad). Local theater productions include Seussical Jr (Mr. Mayor), You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown ( Charlie Brown), Frozen Jr (Oaken), Mean Girls Jr (Kevin G) and The Sound of Music (Friedrich). Emmett enjoys playing guitar, swimming, basketball, singing, and spending time with family and friends. He would like to thank his parents and grandparents for all their support. He is very excited to work with this group of talented performers.

Eric Van Tielen

Eric Van Tielen is overjoyed to be working with this dream team on such a monumental piece of musical theatre. Eric has been seen on Broadway in Les Miserables and A Tale of Two Cities. He has had international engagements with the Tokyo Philharmonic and in Prince of Broadway, directed by Hal Prince. Eric has toured nationally with Fiddler on the Roof and Les Miserables. Regional credits include Syracuse Stage, Berkshire Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, Indiana Rep, Pioneer, Utah Shakespeare Festival and many more. Eric is an accomplished pianist and Voice/Speech specialist. He is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. Gabe Belyeu

Gabe Belyeu is happy as always to be returning for his 14th season at the Mac! Last year you saw him as Julian Marsh in 42nd Street and Bob Crewe in Jersey Boys, as well as in our Sondheim review. This year you will see him reprise roles in All Shook Up and The Fantasticks, as well as another feature review! Other favorite roles at the Mac include Zaza in La Cage aux Folles, Javert in Les Miserables, and Tateh in Ragtime. Most recently, Gabe appeared as Sebastian in R&H’s Cinderella at Cape Fear Regional Theatre in North Carolina. This season’s performances at the Mac are dedicated to his late father Mike Belyeu; Miss you, dad.

George Dvorsky

George Dvorsky is thrilled to be back at the Mac-Haydn after playing Cladwell in last year’s URINETOWN, 2019’s LITTLE SHOP, 2018’s ANNIE (Berkshire Theatre Critic Award for Best Actor in a Musical) and 2014’s FULL MONTY. Broadway credits include the title role in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, PASSION, MARILYN: AN AMERICAN FABLE and THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE… National Tour: CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. Off-Broadway: THE FANTASTICKS, CLOSER THAN EVER, PETE N KEELY, DAMES AT SEA and ‘AND THE WORLD GOES ROUND. George Phelps

George is so excited to have another opportunity to perform at the Mac! Past roles at the Mac include General Harrison Howell in Kiss Me Kate, and Daryl Grady in Curtains! Other acting credits include Officer Lockstock in Urinetown, J Finch/Zach Smith in Puffs, Thomas Nostradamus in Something Rotten, Plankton in the SpongeBob Squarepants, and George Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life. When not on stage, George can be found at Crisafulli Brothers Home Services, where he works as a Residential HVAC installation manager. George is excited to be working in another production with his daughter Fiona, and is always forever grateful to his wife Tanya for her constant support and encouragement, and for convincing him to set out on this crazy theater journey in the first place!

Jack Holick (“Kurt”) is a 6th grade student at Clifton Park, NY. He started in theater at the age of six in Annie Kids (President Roosevelt) and has participated in every musical he could since! He has been involved in productions of Annie Kids (again – this time as Daddy Warbucks), Beauty and the Beast, Jr. (Spoon, Villager), Addams Family (Pugsley), Seussical, Jr. (The Mayor), James and the Giant Peach, Jr. (Karl Kreatour), Frozen, Jr. (Olaf), and HS Musical, Jr. (Ryan). He also participated in his school’s first virtual production during the pandemic, The Big One-Oh! He is thrilled to have the opportunity to continue his learning with such a great company and would like to thank his teachers Mr. Lotano and Ms. Franklin for their support and training. And, of course…to his parents and dog for listening to his constant singing!!! Enjoy the show!

Jeannine Trimboli is excited to perform with Mac-Haydn for the first time. Recent credits include Solstice (Mrs Jacobs) with Company of Curiosities, Ruthless! The Musical (Judy/Ginger) with Ghent Playhouse, Ma’ Space (Brenda) with Creative Action Unlimited, Guys and Dolls (Adelaide) with Not So Common Players, Slideshow (Kathy) with Bennington Community Theater, and Sunday in the Park with George (Yvonne) with Home Made Theater. Next up you can find her in End of the Rainbow (Judy Garland) at Curtain Call Theatre in the fall.

John Hannigan

John is delighted to be returning to the Mac-Haydn stage this summer after helping to close out last season as Smudge in Forever Plaid! This is John’s fourth regional production of Jersey Boys, and he is so excited to continue sharing its amazing story, this time as Four Seasons bass Nick Massi. Favorite productions in New York and regional theatre include Songs for a New World (Milton Theatre), Jersey Boys (Mountain Theatre Company, White Plains PAC), Forever Plaid (Plaza Theatricals), The Last Five Years (Merrick Theatre), Altar Boyz (Porchlight Productions) West Side Story (Heights Players), and Rent (CM PAC). Kristen Clark Bielefeldt

Kristen is overjoyed to be ‘back at the Mac’ after last appearing as Kitty (THE DROWSY CHAPERONE) in 2015. This will be her 3rd time performing ‘42nd Street’ on the Mac-Haydn stage, and it holds a special place in her heart as the first show she ever performed here. In her many summers performing at Mac-Haydn in a variety of roles, her favorites include Mazzeppa (GYPSY), Ms. Medlock (SECRET GARDEN), Ballad Singing Gorilla (SUGAR BABIES) and Ginger (BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS).

Kristen received a BA in Theatre from Wagner College and currently holds the title of Marketing Manager for Columbia Memorial Health. This year she also was honored to become a member of the Mac-Haydn Board of Directors.

She keeps busy with her husband and two daughters, Charlotte & Eloise (who have never seen their mommy perform on stage yet).

Liz Gurland

Liz Gurland is thrilled to be back at The Mac-Haydn Theatre for the 2023 season! Past roles at Mac-Haydn include: Josephine Strong in Urinetown, Woman 3 in And the World Goes ‘Round, Grandma in Pippin, Fräulein Schneider in Cabaret, Angie in The Wedding Singer and Miss Lynch in Grease. Liz appeared as Helen in Fun Home at Hubbard Hall earlier this year. She has performed with such diverse organizations as The MacHaydn Theatre, Hubbard Hall, Theatre Now New York, Gallery Players, The Phoenix Theatre (PA), La MaMa E.T.C. and New Jersey Verismo Opera. She created a one woman show in collaboration with the Emily Dickinson Museum. Makayla Shores

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Makayla is excited to be making her debut as Marta VonTrapp in the “Sound of Music” at Mac Haydn this season. Previously she has played Erica in “Matilda The Musical” (Upstate Productions) and The Pied Piper in MC Smith Elementary School’s “Rats”. Makayla began her love of the stage as a three year old when she began dance classes and hasn’t looked back. When not on stage Makayla enjoyed cooking, karate, reading and exploring all things Harry Potter. She is probably one of the biggest Potter Heads you will ever meet. Although this is her first year in theater, she has taken to each role effortlessly and her family can’t wait to see where this journey leads her.

Quinn McCarthy

Quinn McCarthy is thrilled to be making her Mac-Haydn Theatre debut in THE SOUND OF MUSIC. After getting her start in acting at the age 7 in CCYT’s production of THE THREE LITTLE PIGS, Quinn began pursuing her passion professionally. Now a 4th grader at Ichabod Crane, Quinn is excited to be performing in her first professional theatre role! Previous credits include MATILDA (Upstage Productions), THE EQUALIZER (CBS), FOR LIFE (ABC) and EVIL LIVES HERE (ID Network). When not performing or training, Quinn enjoys spending time with friends, and playing basketball or softball. Remy Orth

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Meet Remy Orth, a 10-year-old who will be starting 6th grade in the fall. She is thrilled to be playing Brigitta in her debut role with Mac-Haydn Theater, and has previously appeared as Cassie in the CDAI production of “13 Musical”. Remy has also played the following with MCPA, Sebastian in “Little Mermaid Jr.”, Michael Hobbs in “Elf Jr.”, Jay in ”Disney’s Descendants”, Lucille & Jose in “Junie B. Jones The Musical Jr.”, and Eric in “Matilda”. She receives voice lessons from Lisa Franklin and is passionate about writing short stories, reading, singing and dancing, playing her double bass, paddle boarding, climbing trees, and playing basketball and softball. Remy is grateful to everyone who supports her creative journey.

Riley O’Kane

Riley O’Kane (Louisa) is honored to return to the MacHaydn Theatre this season and to the Sound of Music Production. Previously Riley has taken the stage in Annie (Mac-Haydn), Sound of Music (National Tour) and the Scranton Shakespeare Festival. Along with Frozen Jr. (Park Playhouse), and PeteHer Pan (Park Playhouse), Matilda (Masterclass Performing Arts), Les Miserables (Schenectady Light Opera) and many more community theater roles and school productions (Goff Middle School). Riley has found that growing up in theater has shaped her success as a person, on stage, in athletics and academics. Riley is grateful for all the love and support she receives from her theater and music mentors, teachers, coaches, friends and family for their endless support. Lastly, Riley would like to especially thank the production team and the MacHaydn family for this opportunity and all they have done.

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Sarah Naughton is thrilled to be making her Mac-Haydn debut as Maria this summer! Some favorite previous theatrical credits include: “Saturday Night” (Second Stage), “REAL” (The Tank), “Death Comes for the War Poets” (The Sheen Center), “Romeo and Juliet” (Lincoln Center – Clark Studio Theater), “Diamond Alice” (Roundabout Underground), and “AcousticaElectronica” (A.R.T. Oberon, House of Yes). Television: “Blue Bloods” (CBS). Sarah is a comedian whose inventive cabaret acts and solo shows, like “Trapped In The Closet” and “Javanka” have sold out 54Below multiple times. Taye is beyond ecstatic to be back at the Mac for a whole season, after doing Jersey Boys last summer! Some of his select credits include: Palace Theatre, “The Prom” (Principal Hawkins), “Beautiful”(Drifters Swing), “Kinky Boots” (Simon Sr./Don U.S), “RENT” (Paul/Collins U.S). Tegan Waters

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

TEGAN WATERS (Gretl) is thrilled to make her debut at Mac-Haydn Theatre. Other local appearances include: The Sound of Music, Home Made Theater (Gretl); Seussical Jr., Debuts Theater Co (Young Kangaroo); Annie Jr., Debuts Theater Co (Molly); Matilda, Master Class Performing Arts (Alice); and The Wizard of Oz, Master Class Performing Arts (Munchkin). Tegan was born in New York City where she started her acting career at age 5 with a national Play-Doh commercial. She now lives upstate where she attends Saint Gregory’s School. When she is not acting or singing, Tegan enjoys gymnastics, ballet, lacrosse, tennis, playing violin and creating beautiful artwork. Tegan also loves hanging out with her family, friends and puppy, Snoop. She is looking forward to traveling more and visiting her Aunt Tara in London.
