Alan Highe

Alan Highe is pleased to be joining the Mac-Haydn as Master Electrician/Carpenter for the 2024 Season! As an independent artist from Michigan, Alan has had the opportunity to work nationwide with some of the industry’s best including: Seth Rudetsky, Major Attaway, Allie Trimm, Ray DeMattis, Jackie Burns, John Tracey Eagen, and Alix Korey. Previous credits include Enter Laughing, The Little Mermaid, Honk! Nunsense, The Fantasticks, Grease, Gypsy, The Producers, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Jersey Boys, and A Doll’s House Part II. While not traveling coast to coast, Alan spends his free time running D&D games, Disc Golfing, and cuddling with his cat, Anna. David Alpert

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

David Alpert is an award-winning NYC-based director, whose work has been applauded by both the New York Times and The New Yorker. NY: The Apple Boys (HERE Arts), Our Brother’s Son (The Linney at Signature), A Scythe of Time (June Havoc). Creative Director for Idina Menzel (Carnegie Hall, Radio City, Bridges Tour, “Which Way to the Stage” Disney+ documentary), Founding Artistic Director of BroadwayCon, Creator & Host of the “E-Ticket to Broadway” podcast, creator of the “Living for Today” Concert series which benefits Gilana’s Fund. Broadway: If/Then, The Trip to Bountiful, The Best Man, Guys & Dolls. Faculty: NYU Steinhardt. David is a member of SDC, and graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA in Theatre Studies. Jenna Goulart

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Jenna Goulart is an avid theater fan. She has just graduated with a BFA in Theater with a Concentration in Acting from The University of Rhode Island. You may have seen her quick-changing skills in the 2023 Theater By The Sea season, or perhaps in URI’s 2023-2024 shows Marie Antoinette and Speech and Debate, where she was Wardrobe Head. In addition to a love for costuming, Jenna also loves acting. Her latest roles include the Ensemble in URI’s 2024 production of Little Shop Of Horrors and Jack’s Mother (U/S) in URI’s 2023 production of Into The Woods. She is very excited to embark on this next journey with the wonderful family at Mac-Haydn Theater!

Sarah Goethe-Jones

Sarah is a costume designer and seamstress for film, theatre, and dance. She recently costume designed her first feature film, as well as a short film, in 2023. She is faculty of the Dance and Theatre Department at Union College in Schenectady of NY, and her creations were seen in their annual dance show and their spring production of “You On The Moors Now.” She holds a fashion degree from Parsons New School of Design in NYC and is a published fashion historian, recently contributing an assay for The Art Students League of NYC anniversary publication. A former professional dancer, she continues dancing and will be performing in Amherst Early Music Festivals “Il Trionfo dell’Onor” by Scarlatti. She lives in Latham, NY with her husband and three rambunctious cats.

Johanna Baronowitz

Johanna is a stage manager based out of New Jersey. She recently received her BFA Theatre: Design, Technology, & Management with a concentration in Stage Management from Montclair State University this spring. Favorite credits include: Back to the Future 1st National Tour (Production Assistant), Marie Antoinette (Montclair State University – Production Stage Manager), Spring Awakening (Montclair State University – Assistant Stage Manager), Singin’ in the Rain (College Light Opera Company – Production Stage Manager), Jesus Christ Superstar (College Light Opera Company – Production Stage Manager), Bright Star (Montclair State University – Production Stage Manager), & Something Rotten! (Northampton Community College Summer Theatre – Production Stage Manager). Clay Cates

Clay Cates is a theatre artist and props maker originally from New Hampshire, now located in NYC. He is thrilled to join Mac Haydn for this wonderful summer of theatre! Previous credits include Properties Design for Winnipesaukee Playhouse, Weathervane Theater, and Seacoast Repertory Theatre. Outside of props, favorite projects include: puppet construction for Avenue Q (SRT) and Little Shop of Horrors (Weathervane), wardrobe supervision for A Christmas Carol (National Tour), work as a camp counselor and on original TYA shows with Upside Arts, and as the stage manager of Senior Rep; a repertory theatre company comprised of senior members of the Seacoast, NH community. When not in the prop shop, you can find Clay enjoying the outdoors, jamming to the Grateful Dead, or practicing yoga. Love to Sarah, Daisy, and Willow.

Alivia Cross

Alivia Cross is MFA in scenic design candidate at Penn State University. She holds a B.A in Technical Theatre and Psychology from Wheaton College, Norton Massachusetts. Alivia is an experienced scenic artist, having worked at various companies including Gulfshore Playhouse and Penobscot Theatre Company. Her recent scenic design credits include Urinetown and Falsettos at Penn State Centre Stage, Jersey Boys and The Sound of Music at the MacHaydn Theatre, and assistant design for Laugh, Cry, Pee, Repeat at The Naples Players in Florida. She is excited to be returning to the Mac-Haydn Theatre as the scenic designer for West Side Story, Rent, and All Shook Up. Alivia is excited to be back in the shop and thanks the entire Mac-Haydn company for continually telling powerful stories.

Abirami Senthil

Abi Senthil is absolutely thrilled to be joining Mac-Haydn for the 2024 summer season. As a recent graduate for the University of North Carolina School of the Arts’ Sound Design BFA program, she is eager to kickstart her career here at Mac-Haydn. Primarily an engineer, Abi enjoys riding faders and working with the sound designer to get that perfect mix for a show. She’s mixed a wide-range of shows for other summer stock theaters including Cortland Repertory Theatre, Timberlake Playhouse and STAGES St. Louis, with her favorites being “We Will Rock You”, “Xanadu” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”. In her free time, you can find her crocheting, painting and watching TV with her dog, Coco.

Hannah Sadler

Hannah Sadler is a junior BFA Costume Design student at Marymount Manhattan. Past Mac Haydn credits include stitcher for the 2023 summer season. Other credits include, Equity Through Design Mentorship, Mentor Tobin Ost 2022-2024. Costume shop intern at Marymount Manhattan. Marymount Manhattan College Productions Credits include: Uncle Vanya, Assistant Costume Designer, R&H Cinderella Hair and makeup Designer, Carrie the Musical, Wardrobe Supervisor, Stitcher for Head over Heels, SpongeBob the Musical, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Loves Labour Lost. West Side Story is Hannah’s debut professional design and they are so excited to return to the Mac for the summer! Hannah would like to thank her costume professor Vanessa Leuck for her endless support and advice. She would also like to thank her wonderful friends and family for their love and laughs.

Isabelle Sterling

ISABELLE STERLING is from North Haven, Connecticut, and is an incoming Senior, Design/Tech major at Western Connecticut State University. WCSU credits include Noises Off (Props Master), Metamorphoses (Assistant to the Set Designer and Props Master), Big Love (Assistant to the Set Designer/ Props Artisan/ Run Crew), Bat Boy: The Musical (Fly Captain), and Season’s Greetings (Assistant to the Set Designer/ Props Artisan/ Scenic Charge), Allegro (Master Carpenter/ Fly Captain), Marat Sade (Master Carpenter/ Fly Captain), Something Rotten (Master Carpenter/ Fly Captain), Next to Normal ( Master Carpenter), Donkey Show (Assistant Technical Director), and The Crucible (Assistant Technical Director/ Assistant Scenic Designer/ Scenic Charge). This is her second season as a Carpenter at The Mac-Haydn Theatre with her previous credits including the 2023 Season of 42nd Street, Footloose, Sound of Music, Godspell, and Jersey Boys.

Julia Kehrley

Julia Kehrley is a freelance wardrobe supervisor and dresser based in Manhattan. She graduated from SUNY Sullivan and SUNY New Paltz respectively, and has gone on to work across the East Coast. Recent shows include Brooklyn Laundry, The Ally, Shadow/Land, The Bodyguard, Jersey Boys, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. During her free time, Julia likes to play board games with friends and work at an Upper West Side craft beer bar called Craft + Carry. Julia would like to thank the Mac-Haydn, her incredible mentors Andrea Gorzell and Jessica Lόpez-Barkl, her loving partner Alan, and her family and friends (especially Mom, who has always been her number one fan). Tori Moss

Tori is thrilled to be returning to the Mac for her second season! Her first summer at the Mac was 2023 in which she served as the Production Stage Manager for 42nd Street, Footloose, The Sound of Music, Godspell, Jersey Boys, and The Marvelous Wonderettes. Tori has stage managed many shows at her alma mater, the Manhattan School of Music, including: Bye Bye Birdie, She Loves Me, The Hills are Alive!, The Secret Life of the American Musical, and Paperboy. Other stage management work: Brighter Than The Sun (Chain Theatre), The Gorgeous Nothings (Life Jacket Theatre Co.), Sober Songs (Staged Reading), One Father, One Son (Staged Reading). She also served as Assistant Production Manager on Most Happy in Concert and Just For Us at Williamstown Theatre Festival. Tori can’t wait for another great season at the Mac! torimoss.com

Sean McGinley

Sean is excited to be returning for another summer at The Mac-Haydn. Some of his favorite designs he has put on stage here are Godspell, Xanadu, 42nd Street, and Jersey Boys(which won an award for best sound design). He enjoys spending his summers here in Chatham and working with the creative teams to build incredible shows in such a short period. Sean has a degree in Music Industry and Recording Technology from York College of Pennsylvania. His designs have been seen and heard at The Naples Players, Gulfshore Playhouse, Gable Stage, Timberlake Playhouse, Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, The Penobscot Theatre, and Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre. Daniel Hewson

Dan Hewson is happy to be returning to the Mac-Haydn family for a third season! Dan is a New York City based Costume Designer and Technician. Previous designs include; The Little Mermaid (Northport Community), Seussical The Musical Jr. (Engeman), Into the Woods (Ithaca College) and Kiss Me, Kate (Mac-Haydn). Selected assistant/associate credits include; Man of La Mancha (Mac-Haydn), Kinky Boots (Engeman), Urinetown (Mac-Haydn), Importance of Being Earnest (Juilliard), La Cage Aux Folles (Trinity Repertory) and 42nd Street (Broadway Sacramento). Dan has also performed alterations for Off-Broadway productions including; A Sign of the Times (New World Stages), Illinoise (Park Ave Armory), and How Long Blues (Little Island). He is a proud alum of Ithaca College as well as The Juilliard School Costume Design Apprenticeship. Eoghan Hartley

Eoghan is back for his 5th season at the Mac! He has been with the Mac since 2019, putting on favorites like Jersey Boys, The Sound of Music, A Chorus Line, The Full Monty, Next to Normal, Forever Plaid, Xanadu, Sunset Boulevard, Ragtime, and Oklahoma. Since last season, Eoghan had the honor of working as a ASM on The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes. Other NYC area credits: A Chorus Line, Rock of Ages, West Side Story, Elf: the Musical (Argyle Theatre), Steel Magnolias (Gallery Players), The Floorshow (Combustion Collective), and many shows with the Actors Studio Drama School (Pace University). Emily Allen

Emily Grace Allen is so happy to be returning to the Mac-Haydn Theatre once again! Emily just graduated from Marymount Manhattan College and is so excited to take the next step in her artistic journey. During the year, she kept busy working and training. She had the opportunity to train at the 30 Rock Wig Shop working on things for SNL and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She also performed as a featured dancer in the ensemble of Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at Marymount. Coming off of graduation, Emily is so thankful for all the opportunities and the support from her family and peers that have helped her to get to where she is. Bethany Marx

Bethany Marx is an Associate Professor of Theatre specializing in Costume Design at SUNY Oneonta in Upstate New York. She has been designing costumes for select Mac-Haydn productions since 2017, including Hello, Dolly!, Oklahoma, Mamma Mia, The Wedding Singer, She Loves Me, Urinetown, Next to Normal, 42nd Street and Footloose. Bethany has also designed for Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, the Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre, and others. She also owns and performs with a children’s party entertainment company serving central New York. She enjoys spending time with her husband and step-daughter, and their four cats. She holds a BFA from the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN and an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Cody Kane

Cody is so excited to be back at The Mac for another season! This will be his 6th Season at the Mac! In the off-season, He started a new job working for the University of Evansville in Indiana as the Assistant Technical Director/ Scene Shop Manager. He has loved teaching students carpentry skills for the stage as well as some rigging techniques. Cody looks forward to going back in the fall and further cementing the importance of working at summer stock theatres to hone the fundamentals he teaches during the school year! Before working in Indiana, he was an Assistant Carpenter on the Jersey Boys Second National Tour traveling the country. No matter where he ends up he always looks forward to a summer at The Mac!

Emma Cummings

Emma Cummings is a Pittsburgh based Scenic Artist and Scenic Designer. She is delighted to return to the Mac this year as she has worked with the MacHaydn Theatre since 2017. At the Mac, she has designed the sets for Next to Normal, Pippin, Little Shop of Horrors and The Wedding Singer, as well as serving as a painter and carpenter for dozens of other productions. She has worked on many productions all over the North East including: New York, Connecticut, and Vermont. She is currently working as the Scene Shop Foreman at City Theatre Company in Pittsburgh, PA.
