Pour Yourself a Cup of Ambition

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mac-Haydn Theatre Brings Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 to the Stage

CHATHAM, NY (June 25, 2026)—The Mac-Haydn Theatre continues its 2026 season with the hit musical comedy 9 to 5, running June 25 through July 5. Based on the iconic 1980 film and featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, 9 to 5 is a hilarious and empowering story of friendship, ambition, and taking charge.

The theatre’s longtime production supervisor, Eoghan Hartley, returns to the director’s chair after last year’s A Grand Night For Singing. He is joined by choreographer Sarah Juliet Shaw who makes her Mac-Haydn debut.

Leading the cast are Mac-Haydn favorites Bridget Carrow (Adelaide, Guys & Dolls), Caitlin Wilayto (Roxy, Chicago), and Tzintli Cerda as the show’s unforgettable trio. Their chemistry, humor, and powerhouse vocals bring new life to the beloved characters made famous by Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, and Dolly Parton.

Filled with infectious songs, laugh-out-loud comedy, and a message of empowerment, 9 to 5 has become a modern musical favorite since its Broadway debut. Featuring Dolly’s Grammy-nominated score, including the title song “9 to 5,” the musical celebrates determination, equality, and the power of teamwork. 9 to 5 runs June 25–July 5 at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. Tickets are available now at www.machaydntheatre.org or by calling the box office at (518) 392-9292.
