I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the fall season. It’s hard to believe another summer has passed—and what a summer it was! One show after another was, in this man’s humble opinion, a triumph! From the stellar company on stage to the incredible crew and creative teams behind the scenes, the season was truly a knock out. All of this was complimented by our incredible audience ambassadors who welcomed us with bright smiles and helping hands. It goes without saying, I think that the Mac-Haydn is a giant team effort and the true VIPs are you, our loyal audience and supporters.

As we head into the off season, the work doesn’t end and we are well on our way to getting the season announced for 2027. We have a few very big surprises in store already! Subscriptions are on sale, shows are being chosen, and we are busy getting ready to welcome everyone back as soon as summer returns.

Your support for the Annual Fund every fall is crucial year after year. Each donation, large or small, is meaningful and we simply couldn’t do it without you. The 2026 season really showed us how the rising costs of just about everything has affected us. As we stay committed to keeping the shows affordable and accessible to everyone in the region and beyond, we have managed to keep our heads above the steadily rising waters. Your donations this time of year cover everything from our administrative costs, property maintenance, and most importantly securing the rights for all of our shows, which unfortunately have become increasingly more costly.

I want to thank each and every one of you personally for your constant support and for making what we do here at the Mac-Haydn possible. The magic that occurs each summer simply would not be possible without your support and unwavering loyalty. Summer will be here before you know it and we will be back in action bringing you the first class musical theatre we have become so well known for.
