Dear Friend,

I write this letter as we head into our last few shows of the 2025 season. Let me begin with a heartfelt thank you for all of the support and incredible enthusiasm during this tremendous season. What an absolute joy it has been to see so many smiling faces return to the Mac, along with so many new audience members.

This season has really proven to be so rich in its diversity of programming, overflowing with the most incredible talent, and huge advances in our technical production. I have heard from so many of you who have shared this experience with us this summer, and I find myself even more excited than ever to keep moving upward and onward as we continue to grow into a true force of regional theatre.

While ticket sales do get us to the finish line each summer, it is your generous contributions that keep us really going through the off season. The planning has already begun and we are setting the stage for another incredible season of shows to wow you with next summer.

As we grow, we are consistently facing challenges with everything from rising costs to the upkeep of our artist housing. Part of what the Annual Fund does is ensure that we can stay competitive and make sure the talented artists we are so lucky to host are taken care of, both onstage and off. Many may not know this, but we house more than 50 artists every summer! Your contributions also play a large part in securing the rights to the dynamic shows we present. Needless to say, it’s a challenge but it’s a challenge we face head on and continue to tackle every year.

As with any arts organization, now more than ever, we rely so heavily on the support of our dedicated audience, and I really can’t thank each of you enough for all you do for us. We will continue to do great work and keep this great art form going strong right here in our own backyard.

I am so looking forward to the 2026 season and I look forward to seeing everyone here smiling and enjoying the incredible offerings of live theatre once again! Have a wonderful fall and a warm holiday season. We will be back sharing memories and cheering on the magic before we know it.
