Max Auerbacher

This is Max’s first year with the Mac-Hayden theater, though he’s had many years of experience in theater tech and design. Most recently, he was the stage manager for a production at Westchester Community College. He also built sets and worked on run crew for the theater program at the University of Rochester. In addition, he was the prop master for TOOP (the opposite of people) an alternative theater troupe at the University of Rochester. He has been working as a lighting technician for Silent G Productions at various locations around Westchester County. He is currently studying electrical engineering in Westchester, NY. Max likes taking things apart and putting things together, but mostly loves taking things apart.

Isabelle Sterling

Isabelle Sterling is a carpenter for Mac-Haydn’s 2023 Summer Season. She started her path in theatre tech in high school at North Haven High School in North Haven, CT. Her NHHS credits include run crew for Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, and Phantom of the Opera. After discovering her love for theatre, she enrolled at Western Connecticut State University in 2021. She is now an incoming Junior Design/Tech Major at Western Connecticut State University for the class of 2025. WCSU credits include Noises Off (Props Master), and Metamorphoses (Assistant Set Designer and Props Master), Big Love (Assistant Set Designer and Props Artisan), Bat Boy (Fly Captain), Season’s Greetings (Assistant Set Designer and Props Artisan), Allegro (Master Carpenter and Fly Captain), and Marat Sade (Master Carpenter and Fly Captain). She is excited for an amazing summer season!
