Tania Barrenechea

Tania is a scenic designer and artisan for the theatre. She received her B. Arch in architecture from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in 2015. Before beginning her MFA, she worked as an architect for 5 years in the architecture studio Vicca Verde in Lima, Peru.

She received her MFA in Scenic Design from the Pennsylvania State University. Production credits include A Little Night Music directed by Phillip Fazio and To kill a Mockingbird directed by Susan Schulman at The Pennsylvania State University. She has assisted Milagros Ponce de Leon in the Production of Miss you Like Hell at the Olney Theatre Center in Maryland and Life is a dream at the Gala Theatre in DC.

She is the Head of Design at the University of Central Arkansas and an Assistant Professor of design at the Film, Theatre and Creative Writing Department.

Cydney Gleckner

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Cydney Gleckner is overjoyed to be a part of the Mac-Haydn Theatre family this season. She will be a junior at Marymount Manhattan College in the coming academic year. She recently made her college MainStage debut as Carrie White in Carrie: The Musical. Other favorite roles include Elsa in Frozen, Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. She can also be heard on the “En Pointe” cast Album, which is available on any streaming platform. When she is not performing, Cydney enjoys cooking, hiking, and driving around in her Toyota RAV4. She wants to extend her gratitude to her parents, Coehl, Rosie, Jon, Ellen, and Michael. Thank you for the guidance and amazing support!

Matthew Harper Stevenson

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Matthew Harper Stevenson is a Virginia native but now resides in NYC. He could recently be seen as Younger Brother in Ragtime (American Stage), Kenickie in Grease (Palace Theatre) and Eugene in Grease again! (Interlakes Summer Theater). After graduating from Christopher Newport University with a degree in Musical Theater and Dance, he would take part in different workshops in the city such as new musicals Like the Wind, Survival of St. Joan and My Pet Dragon. He would like specifically to thank his parents Bob and Laura for their endless support, his sisters Brittany and Erin for their undoubted love and reassurance and his beautiful girlfriend Sarah for inspiring him to be the best he can be every day. Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Stephanie is an actor, singer, and dancer hailing from Clinton, North Carolina. She is ecstatic to be making her Mac-Haydn debut! Recent select credits include: Sandy Dumbrowski (GREASE), Cecily Cardew (THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST), Jo March (LITTLE WOMEN), Campbell Davis (BRING IT ON!), Theresa (CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION), Brooke Wyndham (LEGALLY BLONDE), Young Maid (BERNARDA ALBA), and Suzannah (HAIR). Alessandra Alcala

Alessandra Alcala is a Southern California native and very excited to be on this side of the country for the Mac-Haydn’s 2023 Season! Most recently she served as the Music Assistant/Keyboard Sub for Center Theatre Group’s revival of “The Secret Garden” at LA’s Ahmanson Theatre. Other credits: Great American Melodrama (Resident MD/Composer/Arranger), SLO REP (MD: Xanadu, The Marvelous Wonderettes), Pacific Conservatory Theatre (Asst. MD: The Secret Garden, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, MD: Chicago). She is a graduate of the University of Montana School of Music, and studied Choral Music/Conducting through the Delaware Choral Symposium in Provence, France. When not behind the keyboard, you can catch her playing this weird instrument called the fife – select performances include: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Universal Studios, and Disneyland. Kassi McMillan

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Kassi McMillan is overjoyed to be making her Mac-Haydn Theatre debut this summer! Originally from Fort Lauderdale, FL she currently attends the University of Cincinnati (CCM) and will be a Senior Musical Theatre major this fall. Her favorite CCM credits include Anna in Spring Awakening, Melpomene in Xanadu, and Honoria in Rocket Science. She is the 2019 Papermill Playhouse Rising Star Award Winner for Best Actress as Alice Murphy in Bright Star. In addition to appearing onstage, you can catch her as Gina in Henry Danger on Nickelodeon. Besides theatre, Kassi loves to bake and decorate cakes and play with her three dogs. She would like to thank her parents and sister for their constant love and support!

Jake Koch

Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut

Hailing from Wisconsin, Jake Koch is a rising Junior at Manhattan School of Music. He was most recently seen in Manhattan School of Music’s Paperboy (Willie, u/s Paperboy) and Valentino’s Tango (Ensemble, u/s Jesse Lasky). Some of his other credits include One Way (Ensemble, u/s Theo, u/s Cal), Catch Me If You Can (Frank Abagnale Jr.), The Addams Family (Uncle Fester), A Charlie Brown Christmas (Charlie Brown), Hairspray (I.Q.), Les Misérables (Thénardier) and the world premiere production of Goosebumps the Musical (Zeke). Bella DePaola

Bella DePaola is so excited to return to The Mac Haydn Theatre for year 2! Last year she had the pleasure of being Val in A Chorus Line, Becky Two Shoes in Urinetown (U/S Penelope Pennywise), Susan Hershy in The Full Monty (U/S Georgie Bukatinski), and ensemble in Kiss Me Kate. This year, she made her Pace University Musical Theatre Mainstage debut in Into the Woods as Jack’s Mom (U/S Baker’s Wife, assistant choreographer), performed at 54 Below in The Golden Project, and was in a workshop of a new musical created by Nathan Tysen and Nippe Ankarblom. Other past credits include Chicago (Velma Kelly), Curtains (Roberta), and Oklahoma! (Skidmore Sister). Trey Compton

Trey Compton (Director, Godspell) is thrilled to return to The Mac having directed Urinetown last summer. A New York City based director, regional directing credits include: The Fulton, Riverside, Engeman, Millbrook, Lincoln Park, and Cortland Repertory (SALT Award- 2019.) As an assistant or associate director, Off-Broadway credits include Yank! (The York) and White’s Lies (New World Stages.) Also, multiple credits regionally at Seattle 5th Avenue, Goodspeed, and The Ogunquit Playhouse. He has directed at various Universities and Colleges including Penn, Georgetown, Stephens, Nazareth, and his alma mater, Pace University. Eric is thrilled to return to the Mac-Haydn team as the music supervisor and is excited to bring Chatham audiences such an incredible line-up of musicals. As an actor, Eric has been seen across the country and abroad, including productions at Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, The Cape Playhouse, Lyric Theatre Company, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Maine State Music Theatre, and Florida Repertory Theatre. He has sung with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed in touring productions of Cats, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Amber Mawande-Spytek

Amber is a New York Based Performer and always loves being back at the Mac! Her passion is to create waves of art in musical theatre and the performance industry as a whole. You may recognize her from previous recent seasons at the Mac-haydn. outside of performing, Amber loves spending her time thrift shopping, rearranging her apartment for the 50th time and of course hanging out with her wonderful friends. Anthony Velez

Anthony Velez is honored to be returning to the Mac- Haydn Theatre for their 2023 season. He is excited to have graduated NYU Tisch this year! His most recent credits include Al/James Haupt (BANDSTAND) at the Department of Drama’s New Studio on Broadway. You might remember his past roles as Paul San Marco (A CHORUS LINE), Sancho (MAN OF LA MANCHA) & Arpad Laszlo (SHE LOVES ME) at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. Anthony is also a National Youth Arts Awards 2019 recipient for the category of Best Actor in a Musical as Jack Kelly in NEWSIES (Pied Piper Youth Theatre). He is looking forward to taking his career to the next level by attending Peridance Conservatory in the Spring of 2024. Andrew Burton Kelley

Andrew Burton Kelley is thrilled to be returning to the Mac-Haydn! Andrew lives in NYC with his wife and fellow actor Rachel Pantazis, but is originally from Westminster, MA. He has performed across the country in the National Tour of Waitress, and on Carnival Cruise Lines, along with many regional productions in New Hampshire, Michigan, Massachusetts, and New York. Past Mac-Haydn roles include Sonny (Xanadu), Henry (Next to Normal), Will Parker (Oklahoma!), Lewis (Pippin), Kodlay (She Loves Me, Berkshire Theatre Award Nominated), Houdini (Ragtime), and Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors). Elizabeth McGuire

Elizabeth McGuire is a choreographer, and director living in NYC. In 2011, Elizabeth Co-Founded ToUch Performance Art, a dance-theater company that specializes in immersive and multi-disciplinary performances, and has produced over 50 shows as Co-Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer. Since 2011 ToUch has created and produced sold-out shows in New York and Boston, and was Artist-in-Residence at American Repertory Theatre for three years. Outside of ToUch, she has choreographed at the Signature Theater, the Connelly Theater, AMDA, and the Manhattan School of Music. Elizabeth also serves as Managing Director for Broadway Bound Kids, a non-profit dedicated to providing access to arts education in NYC. Emily Allen is so excited to be back for another year at her favorite summer theatre! She is even more thrilled to be taking on the challenge of Wig and Makeup Supervisor as well as being able to perform this summer. She is going into her senior year at Marymount Manhattan College and hopes to continue her studies and go to cosmetology school after graduation. Recently she had the opportunity to be apart of MMC MTA’s new work “A Princess Story” where she was the associate choreographer and an ensemble member. Angela Carstensen is thrilled to be back at The Mac for a sixth year! Broadway credits include Funny Girl. TV credits include The Food That Built America, History Channel. Regional Theatre costume design credits include, The Legend of Georgia McBride (Ivoryton Playhouse), Footloose (Theatre Workshop Nantucket). Previous Mac-Haydn costume design credits include: Xanadu & The Full Monty (2022), Pippin (2021), Cabaret (2018), Saturday Night Fever & Spamalot (2017) and South Pacific (2016). In addition to working in costume shops, Angela spent three years on the road with national tours: Waitress, The Spongebob Musical, and The Sound of Music. Conor Robert Fallon

Conor Fallon is so excited to be returning to the Mac since his last appearance as Robbie Hart in the Wedding Singer back in 2018! Conor lives in Brooklyn and works as a Carpenter and Bartender when he’s not treading the boards. Some of Conor’s previous roles at the Mac-Haydn were Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Link Larkin in Hairspray, Freddy in My Fair Lady and Rapunzel’s Prince in Into The Woods.
