Kids (Ages 7–15)
A Bronx Tale
Young Calogero (double cast): Male, 9 yo. Must believably play adult Calogero’s younger self. Excellent singer who moves very well.
Annie

Annie: Female, 10–12 yo. Mezzo-soprano belter. A tough yet charming streetwise orphan. Annie is independent, hopeful, and full of life; she acts as a leader/mother figure to the other orphans and yearns for parents of her own. Looking for a strong singer and smart actress who can carry the energy of the show. Sings “Maybe” and “Tomorrow.”
Pepper: The toughest orphan, always getting into fights.
Duffy: The oldest orphan, usually forced to help Annie break up the fights.
July: The sweetest, quietest orphan.
Tessie: The crybaby of the orphanage; must have a loud, whiny voice.
Kate: The second youngest orphan after Molly.
Molly: The littlest orphan, she latches onto Annie for love and protection.
What You Will Need At The Audition

Adults and Kids will be asked to participate in a movement/dance combination. Pack/wear clothing and shoes that you are comfortable moving in.
Tips for your Audition
A couple of things that might be helpful for you to consider ahead of the audition.
- Pick a song that best shows off your voice, whether a ballad or up-tempo number.
- Consider the types of shows in the schedule and pick appropriate material.
- People who are primarily singers are not expected to be polished dancers, but do need to show their movement ability.
We are so excited to be back for our local auditions and we look forward to seeing you, and your talents very soon!
