Raymond Bailey (Conductor/Keyboards) grew up in southeastern Virginia, where his fixation on music began in pre-school, then attended Yale (later returning to accompany and coach at the University’s School of Drama), before moving to NYC, where he’s lived for the past decade, playing, arranging, teaching, and singing from off-Broadway to as far afield as New Orleans and Moscow. Ray sings with the professional ensemble at St. James’ Church in Manhattan, is on staff at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and did casting and/or music-direction for the Arundel Barn Playhouse (Maine) from 1999 until its closing last year. He feels blessed to be a part of the Mac’s Sister Act and thanks Josh and John and Monica for the opportunity!
