Emma Cummings

Emma Cummings is a Pittsburgh based Scenic Artist and Scenic Designer. She has worked with MacHaydn Theatre for five seasons designing the set for Pippin, Little Shop of Horrors and The Wedding Singer, as well as serving as a painter and carpenter for dozens of other productions. She has designed the sets for a variety of productions such as Tenderly; The Rosemary Clooney Musical (Playhouse on Park, CT) and Romeo and Juliet (Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, PA). She has painted the sets all over the Northeast in New York, Pittsburgh, Connecticut, and Vermont. She is currently the Scene Shop Foreman at City Theatre Company in Pittsburgh. She spends her free time painting, illustrating, and collecting children’s books.
