Disney's High School Musical HEY!!! All you Jocks and Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes ---- Get'cha Head in the Game and get ready for the Start of Something New at The Mac-Haydn Theatre, 'cause the show, the songs, the kids, the dancing, the fun that makes you give a Wildcat Cheer is headed your way!
To make the Ruby Jubilee 40th Anniversary season extra special, The Mac-Haydn Theatre has planned a special extra show at the end of the summer season. High School Musical will extend summer into September, playing from the 4th to the 14th.
Popular with all ages, the show is a favorite of teenagers, with music and dancing that they can especially enjoy. High School Musical features Troy and Gabrielle, who meet on a New Year's trip, and are surprised to see each other again at Troy's high school, where Gabrielle has just enrolled. The plot touches on many high school situations, including having to make choices in what the teens really want most to do: play basketball or be in the school musical, go with the "in" crowd or be themselves.
The score, which most teens can probably sing by heart, includes "Start of Something New, Get'cha Head in the Game, Breaking Free," and "We're All in This Together."
