2008

January 24: Thanks to our generous audience that dropped a dollar in the collection box, the Mac-Haydn donated $250 to the Columbia-Greene Humane Society. Similar-sized donations are going out to other area shelters.

2007

December: Eight cartons of donated items and $150 in cash  donated by our wonderful audience were delivered to Adopt-A-Soldier headquarters in Wilton.

December 9: Photo gallery: Mac-Haydn family and friends celebrated the holiday season .

November 20: Assistant Producer Barbara Peduzzi spoke with Chatham Middle School students on Career Day.

September 4: Photo gallery: The Greatest Popcorn Machine on Earth falls silent until May as the set is struck for the final time in 2007.

August 4: Assistant Producer Barbara Peduzzi entertained WKLI 100.9FM's Ben Patten and his family following the August 4 matinee performance of White Christmas.

July 30: The Hoosick Falls Drama Troupe presented a benefit performance of Cats on Monday, July 30.

July 28: The Three Stooges (the Mac-Haydn's Jeff Funaro, Jamison Foreman, Thom Caska, and Carol Charniga, better known as Moe, Curly, Shemp, and their mother) came to town as part of the Chatham Village Historical Society's celebration of Three Stooges Day.

July 20: Photo gallery:  Mysterious, isn't it, that among those welcoming the release of "Harry Potter and the Dark Hallows" on Main Street, Chatham on Friday, July 20, were a number of the Mac-Haydn family?

July 19: Sisters Kelly and Karla Shook to portray the Haynes sisters -- Judy and Betty -- in WHITE CHRISTMAS.

July 5: Ichabod Crane grad Thom Caska continues his climb up the theatre ladder this summer at the Mac-Haydn.

June 28:  The Mac-Haydn places in the Best Summer-Only Theater Company and Best Children's Theatre categories in the 2007 Times-Union's "Best of the Capital Region" reader's poll.  Mac-Haydn media sponsor WABY's David Allan takes first place in "Best Radio Personality."

October: Mac-Haydn Theatre Assistant Producer Barbara Peduzzi returns from Camp Katrina, a Hurricane Katrina animal relief operation in Mississippi, with a full report on her adventures.
